The Yorkshire region
Bridlington is set on the East Coast and has an historic old town and harbour, it is a natural harbour for ships and many shelter in the bay, at Bridlington we have one of the largest shell fishing industries in the country and you are always able to buy fresh fish that has been landed by local fishermen in the town. Scarborough is only 20 miles to the north and Hull is 30 miles to the south. Minutes drive away you are in rolling countryside of the Wolds. The historic city of York is only an hours drive away from the town and is worth a visit whilst you are in the area
There is the most stunning and delightful sea fronts in England, on the south side is a sandy white beach, on the north side is stunning cliff walks to Sewerby and beyond. There is a cycle track, large green areas to walk a footpath and a land train runs through the season which runs from the south side through to Sewerby on the north side. There is a lovely park at Sewerby with miniature golf, children's play area and childrens zoo. There are many concerts and shows which take place at the Spa Royal Hall which is also a venue worth visiting. There is a pleasure boat which runs in the season for trips out in the Bridlington Bay and goes up and down the coast at a leisurely pace, for the more daring you can take a speed boat ride in the bay! There is the famous "Bird Sanctuary" at Bempton just 3 or 4 miles away a family favourite, and easily the best place in England to see, hear and smell seabirds! More than 200,000 birds (from April to August) make the cliffs seem alive – with adults bringing food to their nests, or young chicks making their first faltering flights.
Seaside House is only minutes from the seafront and beach, the seafront is flat so is the perfect location to stay in the town (location, location, location)!

"home from home"
This is our second stay at this lovely house ideally situated on a quiet residential street just a few minutes walk to the north beach. Tony is like a friend to us now as we feel we are staying at his own house as nothing is too much trouble for him and the house is made ready for us with lovely bedding and towels, the welcome pack is much appreciated. The furnishings throughout are comfortable and everything is at hand. Thanks again for the consideration you give us, hope to be back next year

"Great location for exploring local area"
The owner could not have been anymore thoughtful, contact was great. 3 roads from the seafront, 100 yards from local store and selection of takeaways. The beds were really comfortable and bathrooms very clean only downside was no toilet downstairs. Kitchen was better equipped than mine at home. Would definitely recommend and if I was in the area would stay here again.

"Very enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to recommend"
We stayed for a 3 night break over the May bank holiday weekend. I had a few questions before going and the owner answered promptly and pleasantly. The house was very well presented with all you would need. The kitchen was very well equipped and clean. There is a small garden to the rear. Two bedrooms had been made up with clean fresh bedding and the two bathrooms were very nice. The house is 5 mins walk to the sea and approx 20 mins walk to the town centre. We had a very enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation to anyone else.

"Really pleasant and comfortable"
The house is located near north beach. It was clean and well maintained and the owner had even taken the time to supply tea, coffee, milk and biscuits as a welcome pack. It was a very pleasant experience and we will return.

Stayed 3 nights at this lovely spacious seaside house. Perfect location for staying in Bridlington and for exploring the surrounding area. Only 5 minutes walk to the North promenade and beach and easy walkable distance to the town centre. I am sure we will be back again.

"Fab Weekend in Bridlington"
We had a lovely time at Seaside House, a lovely welcome touch was milk in the fridge and a packet of biscuits which was enjoyed by all 6 guests. A good location for walks into Bridlington or Sewerby along the sea front. Although a little cold when we first arrived, as instructed we turned up the heating dial and were soon very cosy! Beds all very comfy, slept very well in room with En suite.
