Little Orchard Stables, is a stable block which has been converted to provide spacious SELF-CATERING accommodation. Located some 5 miles outside the historic market town of Bridgnorth, in the beautiful Shropshire countryside. Little Orchard Stables sits right on the edge of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers the perfect base to explore Shropshire and beyond. The Stables have been designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. Any questions, please get in touch.

Little Orchard Stables is a detached converted stable block set in the grounds of our home. It can sleep up to 4 people; 2 in its double bedroom and an extra 2 in the lounge with a fold down double bed. It is totally private and has countryside views from its own garden/outdoor area. It also has ample space for free private vehicle parking.

We are very dog friendly here at Little Orchard Stables and we welcome well behaved dogs, but we do request that they are not left alone in the property at any time. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times whilst outside, as the outdoor area is not fully fenced, plus we have chickens, sheep, goats and alpacas. We provide secure tether leads so your pet can be secured whilst in the outdoor area or when guests are using the hot tub. The first dog is free but any additional dogs will be charged £30 per pet per stay. This fee for each additional dog is payable in cash on arrival at the Stables. We must be informed in advance if guests are intending to bring dogs along with the number of pets staying at the Stables.

On entering the Stables, there is a small eating area and entrance porch which leads directly into the kitchen. The kitchen comes fully equipped with a small fridge freezer, gas cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster etc. There is a separate utility room off the kitchen which houses a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. The large lounge/living room has a separate dining area. The lounge also has a large television, electric fire, plenty of seating, plus a fold down double bed. The bed can be folded easily away when not in use. Off the lounge is the modern shower room with double shower, sink and toilet. The shower room also has a towel radiator, extractor fan and an electric shaving point. The large double bedroom offers plenty of wardrobe and storage space, a double bed, plus a television.

The whole property has access to broadband internet and WiFi as well as a full central heating system.

The Stables also has a large private outside area, perfect for eating outside, walking dogs, or just taking in the countryside views. The outdoor seating area looks out onto open fields and a small orchard. Along with the outdoor seating areas, there is a large hot tub with sun shelter to help protect from the sun. (If you are unlucky with the weather when you visit, the hot tub will still be available to use during the duration of your stay at the Stables. However, this sun shelter does not have a sealed, watertight roof, has open sides and is not 100% waterproof. We therefore cannot guarantee that some water will not drip through, particularly in heavy rain!) The hot tub looks out directly onto the countryside and fields and is totally private and for the sole use of our guests. There is a bar table to sit at too, along with a small gas barbecue (Spring/Summer use only) which again is for our guests to use if they wish. There is also an outdoor washing line for guests use.

As Little Orchard Stables is located on our property, there will usually be someone around if needed. The Stables are totally private, away from roads, noise and neighbours. Although we do like to personally welcome our guests, we will only be there and around if you require us. We can be contacted by mobile, email or at the main property if needed and required.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
