From the owner

This beautiful apartment is just 300m from the centre of Brides Les Bain and 600m from the Gondola, which gives direct access to Meribel and the whole of the three Valleys - the largest ski area in the world. The apartment is a massive 56m2 which includes a large living and dining area, kitchen, one double bedroom (King size bed) with ensuite shower room, one bunk room, one bathroom with bath and shower and a seperate toilet. There is a cabin area with bunk beds in the hallway, this is a cosy area separated by a curtain for privacy.

The sofa bed coverts to 2 full size single beds, with good mattresses that can be put together or separated. The kitchen is well equipped with microwave/oven, a large (52 litre) additional oven/grill , another small halogen oven, 4 ceramic hobs, pressure cooker, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer and more kitchenware than you will need to self cater for 6-8 people. A recent addition is a good quality washing machine. The apartment Sleeps 6 comfortably but can accommodate a maximum of 8, with 2 people sleeping in the living room area. Free underground parking is provided, with easy access to the apartment lifts for unloading. FREE UNLIMITED and very reliable WIFI (serves only our apartment). There is satellite TV with English and French channels, a DVD player, a variety of DVDs and several board games. Fresh croissants and bread are sold in reception every morning in the ski season.

We bought the apartment 4 years ago and have made many improvements and additions. if you have stayed in any Les Cybeles apartments before ours has many extras and advantages.

We have tried to keep additional costs to a minimum, secure underground parking is free, and the apartment is equipped with everything you need. You can bring your own towels and bedding, or hire from us; we charge only the cost to us for laundering. Duvets (1 king size, 6 singles), blankets and pillows are supplied. We charge less for the end of stay clean than the cost to us. We supply tea, coffee and sugar. In addition soap, shower gel, cleaning materials, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets will all be in the apartment. All linen you have ordered will be in the apartment so you don't need to queue at reception. There is plenty of storage space and lots of hooks for drying wet ski clothes.

There is a fan in each room for the summer season.

The swimming pool and jacuzzi are free and there is a sauna and games room.

We have negotiated various discounts for our guests: the very convenient ski hire shop in the residence will give you a 40% discount and 5% off lessons with 'Magic in Motion" ski school in Meribel. All details when you book.

Three Valleys Ski passes can be ordered in advance with a 5% discount and will be waiting for you on arrival. We can also arrange a food pack if you need.

We have a local English couple who manage the apartment locally and will help you if needed, contact details will be supplied when you book.

Keys will be in a key safe outside the apartment, including a fob to open the underground garage. You will be given a security number for the key safe when you book and pay your deposit. You can therefore arrive as late as you like with no fear of not getting in!

A car is helpful, but not at all essential; the gondola is 600m away; a 10 minute walk or there is a ski bus which runs from the residence and another from the bottom of the drive which go directly to the gondola. All the amenities of Bride Les Bain are less than a 5 minute walk. If you have a car there is an enormous 'Super U' supermarket a few minutes away on the Moutiers road which is very good value. Without a car it would be worth a taxi trip to stock up on food for the week if you are self catering as it is much cheaper than the local small super market.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Sally (the owner) a message.

If Sally (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
