Luxury, rest, creative space, privacy, peace....hiking, cold water fishing, wooded walks, family memories...we invite you to experience our lakefront home in Branson.

Ideal for family reunions, staff meetings, retreats, luxurious vacations, golf outings, girls getaways, and those who want to hike and fish by day and relax in a hot tub by night...

Our guests have asked to take our mattresses home, "borrow" our original art :-), move in permanently...One tween hugged her mom and said, "I feel like I'm a princess!!"

Golfers rest between rounds near the grill or fireside for a game of chess. Fishermen hike down to the lake to catch trout for lunch from our private dock. Families walk through the woods and roast marshmallows over the fire pit. Sun lovers tan on the deck and then lounge in the hot tub...

No need to worry about thin walls or loud neighbors or traffic noises...or people even knowing where you are! Our address is literally off the map, tucked away within 7 acres, hidden by trees on 3 sides and Lake Taneycomo on the fourth.

Though just 3.5 miles from Hwy 76, 6 miles from Branson Landing and minutes further to all the fun Branson offers, you may never want to leave once you pull into the garage...

Wake-up in your luxurious bedroom to watch the deer in the morning. Warm-up to winter seated fireside by the Lord of the Rings chess set. Take a nature walk with loved ones. Enjoy laughter with family and friends around a grand dining table, over a game of shuffleboard, table bowling, foosball, or with the Wii.

Watch the sunset with a panoramic lake view on one of the decks. Relax in the 8-10 person hot tub or detox in the 2-person sauna before you say, "good-night."

And end the day with a cup of your favorite coffee and a great book from Rivendell's house library as you sink into one of our fabulous chaises and chairs.

“Awesome, spacious, very comfortable, family friendly, home for a fun get-away.”

Located on Lake Taneycomo, high on a cliff, just outside of Branson, this home is a wonderful get away for a family of all ages. It has 7 bedrooms all with a different theme, very nice art deco. Our grandkids of ages 8, 11, 11, 13 all just loved the freedom of hiking the path to the dock and exploring the area. We had many great family times around the fireplace in the great room with comfort seating for 12. This is a very lovely home that is shared by a very special family. We feel we were very fortunate to have spent four great days in this lovely setting. Making meals here is a dream with ample and quality equipment. The eight person hot tub with night lights was a great hit with all ages.

Rivendell is the perfect place for families with large areas to gather in, but also some space for kids and adults to enjoy both inside and outside. If you like to grill, we've got you covered or if you want to produce a gourmet meal for your family, we've also got you covered with a variety of kitchen wares. Or if you want to fish for your meal, the dock is the perfect place with a fish cleaning station. We are so happy that your family had great family times and Rivendell and we would love to host you again.
