A really spacious house set in a fantastic garden and large paddocks with the added interest of Alpacas, geese and a small flock of sheep. Plenty of parking available. Our grown up children and our grand kids had a fabulous time, making use of the trampoline and using the place as a base for visiting local attractions and beaches. At the mid point of our vacation here we hosted a Teddy Bears picnic for the little ones and an opportunity for the aunts and uncles to visit us for the afternoon to meet the grand children who were visiting UK for the first time in their little lives. House owner, Colin, promised us excellent weather and it was just so. Would we come again - yes, yes, yes

This house was an absolutely fabulous place to spend our weeks holiday. I travelled with my family (partner and 2 young children) and my extended family and 2 dogs. The kids all loved the garden and the sunken trampoline in particular. The house itself was clean however it could have done with a good spring clean in some areas although saying that it was perfectly clean enough for our stay. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need including washing powder for the washing machine. When we arrived we had been left 2 loaves of bread, milk and butter and more importantly gingerbread men for the kids which was a really nice touch. The communication I had with Colin before hand was really good and he came and introduced himself during our stay which was nice. He was very helpful and even left the travel cot for me to use. The only down side and why I didn't leave 5 stars was because the garden was not fully enclosed. This was a bit of a drawback as we had dogs with us. One of ours was able to be let off the lead however the other one was not able to as they could have easily got out. We managed however this was not clear from the pictures. Overall I would recommend this house as it was a lovely place to stay.
