Description

Wagtail is a delightful cedar wood chalet situated on the south facing beach with uninterrupted sea views across Lyme Bay. The location is often described by visitors to this area as "idyllic". The outstanding beauty of this on one of the most stunningly beautiful parts of rural Devon on the Jurassic Coast is now recognised internationally as a World Heritage Site. ACCOMMODATION: Stylishly presented accommodation with a twin bedroom and double bedroom with secondary double glazing, blackout curtains and radiators in all areas and a solid bamboo floor throughout. There is a TV/DVD, French windows lead to the veranda with deck chairs overlooking the beach and sea. The sitting room has a magnificent mirror across the back wall which reflects the sea and has L-shaped seating providing two extra beds. The kitchen/ diner is equipped with full size gas cooker with hood, fridge, microwave with grill, double sink and plenty of storage space and all cooking utensils and crockery. The bathroom has an impressive shower in the bath, basin, W.C., expel air and heating. Attractive lighting is both practical and ambient throughout to make the chalet cosy and welcoming. Vehicular access for loading and unloading only. One small dog accepted at £25 per week plus £100 security deposit - please mention when requesting a quote

“Perfect location and ideal when weather is warm.”

Location absolutely idyllic. Easy to unload belongings and return car to car park. Chalet a bit tired apart from bathroom. Kitchen worked but badly arranged. Nearby attractions - Bicton Park Gardens which is excellent and Lyme Regis with lots going on there. Being able to take our dog was a bonus and most enjoyable. Many lovely walks on coastal path or otherwise. In good weather a marvellous place - when the wind blows and is cold it was difficult to feel comfortable (very draughty).

WOW! This two bedroomed chalet is just wonderful. I had an amazing time, the chalet is comfortable and fully equipped, home from home really. The bed was comfortable and for a solo traveller I felt extremely safe. The bathroom has been refurbished and there is plenty of hot water and the shower is powerful, which surprised me for a chalet. Absolutely no complaints, can't wait to go again.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
