Delightful cottage, attached to the owners traditional Devon stone barn conversion, in a truly lovely peaceful setting surrounded by the stunning Devon countryside in the picturesque seaside village of Branscombe.

The spectacular beach is only 15-minute walk away, or a 5-minute drive, passing by the famous 700 year old award winning Mason's Arms Inn. In the village there are the National Trust Old Bakery Tea Rooms, Mill, museum, working forge and second traditional inn 'The Fountain Head' serving good food and local brews.

A beautiful tranquil cottage to enjoy a relaxing holiday, an ideal romantic retreat throughout the year.

Completely and carefully renovated, refurbished and attractively furnished to a very good standard. Light and bright.

Entrance into open plan Lounge, feature coal effect electric fire, Dining and well equipped Kitchen areas, door to enclosed patio.

Third of an acre lawned gardens, shared with occasional use by owner.

Off road parking space by cottage.

Saturday changeover.

Well-behaved small pets welcome, a fixed charge of £25 pw or part week per pet.

No smoking in property please.

Short Breaks:

These are available between October and March excluding school and Bank Holidays.

The West Country, on the East Devon/West Dorset/Somerset border, an ideal holiday destination.

The World Heritage Site, 'The Jurassic Coast' with exciting beaches and coastal footpaths to discover, interesting traditional towns and villages to visit, beautiful countryside to explore, many historic and modern places to while away the sunny days.

Branscombe

Branscombe is a small peaceful village, one of the longest in the country surrounded by National Trust land, with spectacualr cliffs, downs and wooded combes. Coastal paths to Beer and Sidmouth. Spacious pebbly beach. 12th Century Church, two traditional Inns serving real ales, seaside restaurant, working forge with Old Bakery Tearooms and Mill.

Beer, an unspoilt picturesque fishing village of smugglers and lace making fame is 10 minutes drive away. Jack Rattenbury, known as the Rob Roy of the West, a famous 19th Century Beer smuggler is celebrated on Rattenbury Day in September.

A small brook flows down through the village to the sea, with small bay and sheltered pebble beach, nestling between striking chalk cliffs of Seaton Hole and Beer Head, pleasure boats, fishing trips freshly caught crabs, lobsters and fish for sale.

Beach cafes serving excellent cooked breakfasts, light meals, local crab sandwiches and Devon Cream Teas.

Interesting Roman quarry caves. Miniature and model railway, pleasure gardens, Art Galleries, Antiques, inns and restaurants.
