Moody and tranquil views pour into every window, making this a peaceful and relaxing retreat at any time of year. Minimalistic and comfortably furnished, the Island House is stylishly curated taking inspiration from the surrounding coastline. A well-equipped contemporary galley kitchen features modern appliances. With plenty of worktop space available, this is the ideal for rustling up a delicious feast made using the local produce this area is famed for. Dual-aspect windows with views to the staithe enhance the experience of seaside living. A good-sized dining room provides seating for up to eight guests around a charming wooden table that overlooks the sea. A cosy sitting room with feature fireplace provides a calm sanctuary with ample comfortable seating. On chillier evenings nestle in to watch a film together, and on warmer days open up the patio doors to allow the fresh sea air to drift through. Sandy toes can be rinsed off in the shower room conveniently located near the entrance of this property.
Upstairs, four bedrooms are located. The master bedroom hosts a king-size bed, with twin beds provided by bedroom two. Bedroom three and bedroom four each offer single beds with incredible seascape views. These bedrooms are served by a family bathroom featuring a bath with hand-held shower over. Lie in bed and listen to calls from the abundance of rich native wildlife and birdlife that flocks to this area. At night, the lack of light pollution means that the huge skies appear to reach forever - perfect for stargazing.
Unenclosed green lawned gardens wrap around the property and boast direct access onto the saltmarshes. At high tide, the nearby staithe transforms in to hubbub of boats, paddleboards, walkers and seaside excitement. A low tide, revel in the feeling of remoteness that the peace brings. The coastal path runs along the back of the garden, with beautiful Brancaster beach reachable within a 30-minute walk. The nearby local pub, The Jolly Sailors, is the hub of the community. Just a short walk away, this charming place offers delicious food to eat in or takeaway.
