Further details outdoors:

Les Cinq Saules is nestled in a magnificent, fully fenced 3000 sqm garden, featuring a natural pond surrounded by ancient willows, which give the cottage its name. Sitting on the large terrace, you can enjoy the privacy and tranquility of the cottage, while our younger guests can play in the sand box or on the swing and wooden tower. Garden chairs, umbrella and BBQ are provided. Covered, on-site parking is available.

Les Cinq Saules was built on the site of the spring of the Ermitage, a small stream winding its way through the hills of the "Roman Païs"to join the Hain, one of the region's larger rivers. The valley of the Ermitage was classified as a "site of great biological interest" by the regional authorities. The cottage is surrounded by woods and farmland, and has direct access to a number of foot and bike trails.

- Do not leave your pets unattended in the cottage.
Our garden is dog-proof fenced (our fence is 1.2 m high all around). Your dog may enjoy a swim in our pond! We provide a maxi-size dog basket.

Braine-Le-Chateau

"Les Cinq Saules" is situated on the outskirts of the medieval village of Braine-le-Chateau, which is nestled in the green hills of "Le Roman Pais". This rural region, just 25 km south-east of Brussels, offers a wide range of possibilities for holiday makers, including touristic and gastronomic routes, many hiking and cycling trails, and excellent sports facilities (golf, tennis, horseback riding, swimming, ...). Lovers of art and history will enjoy the region's abbeys, churches, castles, mills and museums, while children will love the region's activity and adventure parks.
