The England region

Bradworthy is a self contained village in the West country. Bradworthy has a cost cutter shop / post office and a family run grocery store. There is also a butcher shop seeling locally sourced produce and a hardware store. The Bradworthy Inn is just a short stroll away from Janaleen, a family run, traditional 16th century coaching inn offering a fine selection of real ales, beers, wines and spirits. Situated on the picturesque market square in the village of Bradworthy, North Devon, this is the perfect place to enjoy a hearty meal or a refreshing drink. The Bradworthy Inn encourages families, children are very welcome, as are dogs. There is a secluded beer garden and courtyard, ideal for relaxing on a hot Summer's day. At the bottom of the garden is a children's Wendy House, perfect for the children to play in. The pub also offers colouring pages and pencils to help keep children entertained. The Bradworthy Inn also offers FREE wifi for all customers.

The pub is also home to a coffee shop, open from 10am Monday to Saturday, offering a selection of teas, coffees, homemade cakes, buns, cream teas, full English breakfast, bacon baps, baguettes and other light snacks.

Tamar Lakes are ideal for fishing, sailing, walking and watching wildlife. Close by are the villages of Clovelly, the market town of Holsworthy and seaside resorts of Bude and Westward Ho! Other local attractions include the Gnome Reserve, Milky Way and the Big Sheep for family fun and adventure.

There are some fabulous walks either around the village or head along to the coast and follow the national trust footpaths, there are some breathtaking views. Inside Janaleen I have collected/purchased alot of tourist information and walks for guests to use.

The tarka trail can be reached approx 14 miles from Janaleen - depending which point you would like to start, there are some great cycle rides for all the family. Cycle hire is availble, but there is also ample space to store bikes at Janaleen. More information www.devon.gov.uk/tarkatrail

Bradworthy

If you are a lover of dramatic coastline, hidden coves and gorgeous beaches, Janaleen makes a great base for surfing in nearby Bude, or indeed from which to explore the whole of Devon and Cornwall. The Eden project is a popular attraction, which is about 55 miles away.
