There are many beaches that are great for families close by, including West Bay, Seatown, Burton Bradstock, Charmouth and Lyme Regis. There is good sea fishing as well as coarse fishing on local rivers, also there is fishing available at Mangerton Mill which is a 5 min drive away. "A beautiful , large Cottage"

"Brilliantly cosy for December"
The cottage was bright and warm. The heating system was excellent, the bathroom a treat. If we'd more time we would have tried lighting the log fire! A great break before the xmas rush.

"Comfortable cosy and well located"
Located in a quiet back road but just about within walking distance of Bridport (about half an hour's walk). Comfortable big four poster bed. Well decorated. A nice welcome pack was provided containing some essentials such as milk. The kitchen was well equipped, but some of the fixtures look nice but are not very practical e.g. the sink in the bathroom was very small. Also the steep stairs would make this property unsuitable for anyone with any walking difficulties. Overall though we had a lovely stay.

Daisy Cottage represents the best of both worlds. A period country cottage in a quiet location but full of modern convenience. It is clean, well equipped and comfortable and I imagine, warm in the winter, although we were fortunate with the weather not to have to light the log burner. The directions to find it were clear and there was no problem with parking. Plenty to do in the area, and Bridport is great if you enjoy rummaging around antique and junk shops. Would definitely book again.

"A BEAUTIFUL COTTAGE. .HOME FROM HOME X"
We have just returned home from a weeks stay in Daisy Cottage. On arrival we were greeted with flowers, wine, local eggs and biscuits along with milk, tea, coffee and sugar. It made a nice change to have such thoughtful hosts..the cottage is tastefully decorated and thoughtfully furnished with a beanbag,a nice snuggle blanket and some seasoned logs for the wood burner. A real bonus was the downstairs W.C named the boys room..that made me chuckle as I normally have to wipe the seat if you know what I mean? ?? Having son's that is..The washing machine came in handy, saves on over packing or bringing home a dirty load..the jelly beans are a nice touch!!! Avoided only just eating the lot!! Very comfy beds with high quality bedding along with plenty of clean fluffy towels. The cottage is spotlessly clean and the photos certainty dont give it justice to the warmth and ambience of the place. .ideally located in easy reach of the local shops and swimming pool. .West Bay is worth a visit along with lyme Regis. .truly spectacular views along the coast line. .the only snag that I had was the week went by too quickly and that we had to leave. .Big thanks to Jo and Wayne for the extra effort in making it a pleasure to stay at Daisy Cottage.I highly recommend Xx

"Beautiful cottage, full of home comforts."
The cottage was lovely, like a home from home and good value for money, the location was perfect for exploring the Jurassic coastline. We had a brilliant family holiday, even though it was the end of October.

We enjoyed a lovely week in Daisy Cottage. The cottage is well maintained, clean and tidy and had everything we needed for us and our 2 children, aged 11 & 8. The welcome gifts were much appreciated and added a homely feel. The owners (also the neighbours) were helpful and friendly when asked but never called directly or were intrusive in any way. The location is excellent for viewing West Dorset as everything is on your doorstep here. We have been to Dorset many times and Bridport is the place to stay. All in all, we were very pleased at the standard of the cottage and it's setting. The only thing we felt lacking was a tumble dryer as our children did a LOT of swimming at the beach and we had wet towels at the end of the day - but then we were extremely fortunate with the weather and the calm seas!

"Lovely spacious cottage"
Very peaceful location but easy access by road to Bridport town centre for shops etc and short drive to beaches. Very well equipped and stylishly decorated with good quality items, including a smeg fridge! There was plenty of space for the 4 of us and our dog. Stairs going up may be a bit steep for those with less mobility but can't think of anything negative to say. Had a great week exploring the area.

We had a fantastic time at Daisy Cottage for our first holiday with three month old Annabel. Everything was just perfect and the welcome package was much appreciated.
