“Fantastic cottage, great location and wonderful attention to detail.”

Reviewed 10 Jul 2016

This is was our second stay at the this quaint cottage. The attention to detail is something that stays with you. from lovely cupcakes on arrival, bottle of prosecco and milk what more could you want after a long journey. The cottage has been beautifully decorated , with me being a Cath Kidston fan , I was in heaven with all the crockery and kitchen equipment. The bathroom has White company toiletries and big fluffy towels and dressing gowns are like being in a top class hotel. The cottage is the beautiful village of Bradford upon Avon, Bath is easy to get to via train or car. There is a great fish and chip shop opposite, and a little bakery which has great pastries for breakfast. Plenty of nice places to eat during the evening. Lara the cottage owner was nothing but the perfect host and is quick to sort any questions or concerns. Having stayed in quiet a few places in The area Bridge Cottage is definitely my favourite, and would hesitate in recommending it to anyone for a lovely stay.

Owner's reply: Thank you so much for your kind review, glad you enjoyed your stay!

“Good location, beautiful cottage, shame there is no parking”

Reviewed 23 Jan 2015

Great location, beautiful cottage with lovely homely furnishings. The road outside is quite busy and noisy, that's the only down side.

“Glorious cottage”

Reviewed 18 Dec 2014

Us four old school friends stayed at Bridge Cottage for the weekend and loved it. It's immaculate, has all the kit you could need - kitchen digital radio, groovy CDs to listen to, huge towelling robes - and is decorated in such a pretty way. Our welcome fizz and cakes were such a treat, and it's literally a 4 minute walk to the train station to hop on the train to Bath. Shame there's no garden but that is the only downside - plus there's the village green and parks just down the road so it's not a big problem. Totally recommend!

“Cosiness away from home”

Reviewed 19 Oct 2013

We stayed for nearly one week in Bridge Cottage and have spent a wonderful time there. We were welcomed with afternoon tea and cupcakes. Lara the owner has furnished everything with love. We found everything what needs one to feel cosy and almost at home. Lara is very helpful. On morning we have asked for some fire log and coming back from our sightseeing we had the logs next to the fireplace. Bradford-on Avon is a beautiful little town which can serve as a starting point to explore the gorgeous surrounding. We have enjoyed our stay in Bridge Cottage and the picturesque landscape very much and hope to return soon.
