Description

Shorewalk was built around 30 years ago when ample space and quality were just as important as profit. The spacious grounds and mature trees are meticulously kept and give an air of peace and tranquility hard to find in more modern resorts. The location is ideal, close to IMG, beaches, shops, supermarkets, restaurants, golf courses, cinema and bowling. Facilities include two heated swimming pools, each with a separate Whirlpool spa, two lighted tennis courts, table tennis. The six lakes are stocked for fishing, and the clubhouse has billiards/pool tables, and library, nearby table tennis, childrens' playground, and outside grills for bbq's.

Our condo is an upstairs unit with cathedral-style ceiling making it light, bright and airy. Master bedroom has kingsize bed and en-suite bathroom and guest bedroom has twin beds and separate bathroom. The views are better upstairs, it is more private than the ground floor and with no worries about someone clumping round above your head, especially at night. The lanai looks out across the nicest lake in Shorewalk, and turtles, ducks, geese, herons, egrets, and roseate spoonbills are all frequent visitors.

It has been redecorated throughout, renovated and updated. At the end of 2013 we replaced the vinyl with ceramic tiles in the bathrooms, kitchen, hallways and lanai. The living and dining areas have new carpet as have both bedrooms, making it more homely than ceramic and, actually, easier to keep clean. The kitchen units and counter tops are brand new along with a new range with ceramic hob, wall-mounted microwave oven, dishwasher, and fridge/freezer. The master bedroom has new king-size bed, pillow top mattress, new bedroom suite, and 32 inch flat screen tv. The guest bedroom has new twin beds and mattresses. Both bathrooms have new vanity units and all fittings and furnishings are of good quality.

We have new comfy sofas and an elegant dining set and the living room has a new 42 inch HD SMART tv. Brighthouse provides hundreds of tv channels, high-speed wireless internet and free phone calls throughout USA and Canada.

It's only a few minutes walk to Publix and Aldi supermarkets, shops, stores, restaurants, bars, hairdressers, dry cleaners, cinema and bowling alley. Our favourite beach is on Anna Marie Island which is less than fifteen minutes drive as is Longboat Key with the famous shopping area, St Armands Circle.

My wife and I are very proud of our re-modelled condo and hope you will enjoy staying there as much as we do.

Beautiful condo, excellent location, Edwin the owner was brilliant with queries beforehand and whilst we were there. Having visited the area many times over the years this is definitely one of the best condos we have rented.

How do damage deposits work?
