This large, sunny holiday town house is elegantly furnished and has wonderful views of Lake Windermere from the south-facing picture windows in the lounge and upper floor master bedroom.
Tastefully refurbished to a good standard throughout and benefiting from three bathrooms, it also has a balcony off the dining room. Located just a few minutes stroll from the heart of bustling Bowness with stylish shops, tea rooms and pubs, and a mere 100 metres from the lake with all its watersports, it makes a perfect base for a superb holiday for families or groups of friends.
The whole of the Lake District is on your doorstep. Shop 250 yards, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

What a lovely place to stay we picked it due to its location and it didn’t disappoint the 2 parking places are a real bonus!!! The upstairs bedroom is huge with en-suite with another double and a twin and a family bathroom upstairs.0n the middle level is a huge living room and a great kitchen /diner downstairs another double and shower room. The property was fantastically clean kitchen has everything you need and all the space is great !!! We will definitely be going back it’s a great base and a great price
The apartment was perfect for us. Clean and very roomy. John has been great with communication and even put birthday decorations up before we arrived (which I sent over a few days before). Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend. The location was fab too.

“Excellent holiday home”
For us, Watersidehome was perfect, overlooking Lake Windermere, with Bowness on the doorstep. A mile to the ferry and five minutes later we were getting tickets to see Beatrix Potters house, Hill Top. Location wise it could not have been better. Only fifteen minutes from Kendal (see the Quaker Tapestry, fascinating), thirty minutes to Keswick (Pencil museum and excellent shopping) we were right in the heart of the Lake District. The house itself is warm, welcoming and has everything you need. We had a bit of confusion over the fridge - then we realised there were two! The large garage area was a godsend for muddy wellies, dripping coats etc, plenty of room to hang things up whilst they dried off. We appreciated the TV digital package as most evenings all we wanted to do was collapse in front of the TV and rest our legs! Beds were comfortable, the three bathrooms ensured there were no queues, and the wifi kept the younger ones happy too. We will definitely return.

Great location 2 mins walk to Bowness Centre. Good parking facilities. House ideal for 8 people could do with painting, shame the balcony on back of building instead of looking onto Lake

The rear balcony would be great on the front , however it is ideal for the morning / early afternoon sun for eating out / coffee. Hopefully you made most of the front double patio doors off the lounge opening up to the lake view . We have re decoration and some refurbishment to the property due in November17 . “Waterside bowness on windemere”
Location was perfect but..... property could do with makeover dirty kitchen/drains blocked in shower/duvet and towels need replacing/dirty kitchen bin and roasting trays still had solid cooking fat in them we had to wash things before we could use them. Oven also dirty and doesn't work properly/ tv kept cutting out problem with leads. Downstairs shower couldn't get any hot water at all! Drain in upstairs shower en suite plug full if hairs and eouldnt drain so ended up in couple of inches dirty soapy water yuk!!!! Think we deserve a refund!!!!

Your comments did receive our immediate attention, all cleaning issues will be rectified. When a property is generally rented, we do greatly appreciate feedback of any variety, we strive to keep the property as welcoming and comfortable as possible. Occasionally issues can occur as with any property, and we do always advise visitors to advise us immediately should there be any issues that occur during your stay, this would allow the issues to be rectified at the time and allow your stay to be improved. Sadly you didn't advise us until you returned home, and the previous visitors to you didn't have any issues at all. All the issues you have raised could have been rectified if you had been in touch on your discovery. Once again we are sorry to hear your comments, We have updating work regularly at the property, with dates scheduled for 17th-20th July and w/c 9th September 17. Hopefully you may visit us again in the future following our refurbishment and updating."
