Set in the heart of rural countryside, this spacious and well furnished detached 5 ensuite bedroomed farmhouse, dating back to 1760, shares 15 acres of grounds with the owner on this working farm, making it an ideal holiday home for families of all ages all year round.Whether for a holiday in the height of summer, enjoying the many attractions and beaches in the area, or for a family gathering in off peak season for a celebration, Dunley Farmhouse is a superb choice. There is an enclosed garden ideal for BBQ or al fresco dining, with amazing views across the beautiful Devon countryside, see the ducks and chickens as they wander freely around the farm. There is a woodburner in the living room ideal for all year round holidays.

Very Good

“Amazing stay”

We came to stay for a long weekend with 7 adults and 3 young (energetic) children. The house had everything we wanted, but the real highlight was the animal encounters in the morning. The kids were so excited to go and see the animals, and Geoff was so accommodating and we never felt rushed or like we were inconveniencing him. They had the opportunity to feed the animals and collect the eggs (even though a few were lost by my rather over excited two year old). The welcome pack was a great addition, and made breakfast the next day a real treat. We are already discussing our return visit!! We can not recommend it enough!

Dunley farmhouse proved to be everything we had wanted and anticipated. Comfortable, spacious and well-appointed, it served our needs exceptionally well. It would be difficult to find a more genial host; Geoff was welcoming, friendly and nothing seemed too much bother. He provided great bread, cake, bacon and sausages. I would unreservedly recommend Dunley Farmhouse. Jim

Have just returned from a lovely 2 day weekend at this property. Went with a group of 9 friends so the 5 ensuite bedrooms were the big appeal. The photos do not show off the lovely bedrooms which are all a very high standard and have extremely comfy beds. There are 3 receptions rooms as well as a farmhouse kitchen which is equipped with everything you need to self cater. We cooked both days buying home reared produce from Geoff and Rebecca on the second evening. Nothing was too much trouble for Geoff who produced a brand new TV when the one in the lounge wouldn't play music. Amazing hosts, looking forward to our next visit. Loads of things to visit nearby. Thanks Geoff for the lovely cake and breakfast fare for our first morning. xx Loads of games and DVD 'S should the weather be unkind.

“Perfect for a family get together”

The house was just right for our needs as a family. Kitchen was large and well equipped to cook for us all. Geoff left us a mound of lovely bacon and farm made sausages for a fry up. We had a family wedding to attend at Canonteign falls so not too far to travel.There is a room on ground floor for a person with disabilities to use. All bedrooms had ensuite and good supply of hot water and logs for woodburner. An enjoyable weekend was had by all! Felt very friendly and peaceable place

A well equipped spacous house well away from road, and ideal for family/friendly gatherings. The owner provided some provisions so there was something for breakfast from the outset. The owner was flexible where we had some extra needs. It was a delight to stay here! We used this house as my daughter was marrying nearby, and left here for the wedding service, so this property is now part of this happy memory being recorded in the photos.

The treat of fresh bread, cake, eggs and meats was unexpected and so with the food we brought, we had much more food than we could manage. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was very well equipped and the owners were friendly and gracious. The surrounds provided a nice area for walking and exercising the dogs. It is a bit remote: be prepared for a long stretch of ungroomed road on the way in.

Beautiful setting, fantastic farmhouse, everything you need is in the house. On arrival we had a welcome pack, a home made cake, sausages, bacon, eggs, fresh bread, jam, etc,, etc. The owner was very helpful, even showing the children around the farm to meet the animals, which they loved, Quite central to most towns, Would definitely return.

We joined members of our extended family for a week long stay at Dunley Farm and were absolutely delighted with the farmhouse, it's facilities but most of all the absolute warmth and hospitality of Geoff and Rebecca......and their assorted pigs, ducks, sheep and even Peter the Possessive Goose...... From the delicious Victoria sponge which Rebecca made, the farm bacon and fresh duck eggs to the magnificent spit roast lamb which the father in law arranged with Geoff - the produce could not have been better. One of the high points for us was the way Geoff & Rebecca made such an effort with our children who are aged 1,3 & 13 - from involving them in egg collection, feeding the pigs & even allowing my son to drive their tractor - the kids absolutely loved it!! We would definitely have no hesitation in recommending Dunley Farm to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in a superb location.......don't hesitate - book it now
