It is just a very short stroll from the village centre's bars, restaurants, shops and tourist attractions. The cottage has undergone a major renovation project and while original features like a log fire, exposed beams and honey-coloured Cotswold stone walls have been retained, every modern day convenience has been catered for with free wifi available. The Cotswolds region
The Cotswolds is set in the heart of England and offers visitors everything from areas of outstanding natural beauty to Roman ruins. Equally as pleasurable are the country walks; outstanding restaurants and pubs with roaring log fires.
Bourton on the Water, known as the Venice of the Cotswold's because of the ancient bridges that straddle the River Windrush, has many attractions. These include Birdland, a beautiful park and garden containing over 500 birds; the Cotswold Pottery; Bourton Model Railway; Cotswold Perfumery; Cotwold Motoring Museum. Just a stroll by the river taking in the honey-coloured 300 year old stone cottages is an attraction in itself.

"Lovely cottage in a perfect location"
We loved this cottage. It's cosy, comfortable, clean and very well maintained. The kitchen is well-equipped, furnishings are spot on and I had the best night's sleep in ages in the comfy double bed. There was space for our two cars right outside and the cottage is perfectly placed for pubs, restaurants and shops in this beautiful Cotswold village. The weather was freezing but all the rooms were warm and the log fire made for a very cosy atmosphere. All in all we had a great weekend stay. We'll definitely be returning.

"Lovely cosy cottage in a central yet quiet location"
Warm and comfortable cottage with all the convenience of a central village location and none of the noise...at least not in March. Reserved parking in front of the cottage made life easy as I guess parking could be a problem in peak season. Wi-fi availability would have been a useful bonus but the local pub offers free wi-fi. Kitchen facilities adequate for cooking basic meals and plenty of pubs nearby if choosing to eat out. More mugs and bowls would have made life easier as we're a couple who enjoy self catering as well as eating out. Both lounge and snug very comfortable. Shame the TV in lounge wasn't working but the one in the snug ensured we were not inconvenienced. Comfortable master bedroom and nice bathroom. We didn't use the second bedroom. Central heating very efficient, for which we were grateful on colder days. Lovely log fire in the main living room, although we didn't use it. A home from home that was very comfortable and relaxing.
So glad you enjoyed our lovely cottage. The TV was brand new and successfully installed two weeks prior to your visit and unfortunately developed a fault which we only discovered after you had left. This has now been replaced and a 32inch flat screen TV re-installed. Luckily as you say there are two TVs in the downstairs rooms of the cottage so we are happy you were able to watch TV. The cottage caters for four people although we have extra crockery in cupboards. Thank you for your review and once again, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay.

"Cosy cottage in perfect location"
We've just returned from a short break at Weavers Cottage to see in the new year . We really enjoyed the cosy ambience and the log fire in the cottage, as well as all the little extras provided by Collette. No more than five minutes walk to all attractions in Bourton-on-the-water (yet set in a peaceful location), it was an ideal base to come and go from, especially with a toddler in tow.

"We Loved It"
Not only was the house well appointed and comfortable, it was perfect with teenagers because having two sitting rooms provided individuals some space when needed. The central location of the town allowed for wonderful day trips, and the town itself was fun to wander and shop in. Julie from Chicago, USA
