“Found Perfection !”

Reviewed 31 Oct 2016

We spent half term at Spring Cottage for a week with my daughter husband and two grandchildren. And wow what a fantastic time we had, from the minute we opened the front door. The cottage was emaculate beautiful and so well equipped . Not a single thing had not been thought about , we had every thing we needed. Including flowers chocolates and the wood burner all ready to go ! Bourton on the Water is a lovely Coswold Village and the Motor Museum and Birdland ( all a short walk from the cottage ) were well worth a visit. The children were so delighted to walk to the end of the garden go through a gate and into a little hidden park. Thank you Linsey a wonderful owner to deal with.

“Beautiful, charming and contemporary cottage in a perfect location”

Reviewed 7 Jul 2015

We felt at home as soon as we walked through the door at this gorgeous cottage. The owners had provided a range of amenities to ensure our stay got off to a wonderful start. Every detail had been thought off and we felt very welcome. The cottage is beautiful and finished to a high spec. The location of the cottage is perfect to explore the Cotswolds. The cottage is just few minutes walk from the center of Bourton on the water, which is a lovely village filled with wonderful eateries and charm. We explored many villages near by too. We were on our first family holiday with our 1 year old daughter and we had such a wonderful time. There was something for all of us and we relaxed, ate ice cream and had fun! The cottage had a wonderful garden where we enjoyed spending the warm summer evenings. This is really a wonderful place to stay and we would highly recommend it!

“Perfect”

A perfect base for touring the Cotswolds with off-road parking for 2 cars - a real bonus!! All rooms are presented to a very high standard - an absolute 'home from home'! Plenty of places to eat, shop and experience just a 5 minute stroll down the road. Lovely quiet garden where you can relax after a day out - away from all the hustle and bustle. Lynsey's thoughtfulness with the wine, flowers, tea, coffee et. was much appreciated as was her phone call before 4pm to say the cottage was ready for us. I cannot praise Spring Cottage highly enough - we will most certainly be back!

“Beautifully renovated”

Reviewed 26 Aug 2014

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Spring Cottage. It has recently been renovated and refurbished and they have done a superb job. We had 6 adults and a toddler and there was plenty of room for us all. It's right opposite a nice little pub and 5 minutes walk from the town centre. We loved our stay and we will definitely be back. Ps - I never write reviews but felt compelled to after our stay. Nick

“Spring Cottage is an ideal cottage for a (short) stay in the Cotswolds and in Bourton-on-the-water”

Reviewed 8 Aug 2014

Spring Cottage is a very nice 3 bedroom cottage with 2 bathrooms. The house was spotless clean and in the property you will find everything you need. I never sleep very well in a strange bed; this beds were fantastic. I 'd never slept better. A little point you have to know if you have a probem with the stairs: The toilet is on the first floor. We had a dog wit us and the closed back garden was ideal for him. It is a lovely place to stay only less then10 minutes walk from the centre of the village
