Externally, the grounds that surround this cottage are very peaceful with horses and chickens mixed with gorgeous grounds and Cotswolds fields beyond. Children will love it ! Internally the cottage has been renvoated by the owners to provide very welcoming Visit Britain Four Star standard self catering accommodation. The open plan kitchen/diner is a particularly pleasing feature. A very good quality cottage in an excellent location - we think you will agree!

“Our week in the Cotswold”

Reviewed 25 Jun 2016

We have a small well behaved dog and our friends also have a small dog, they loved the open space. Fo rus, the view of the horses in their paddocks and the Cotswolds was wonderful. We came back very refreshed.

“Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings”

Reviewed 6 Nov 2012

The information given in the description of the cottage is spot on. The kitchen is very well equipped and the welcome pack has everything you need and more, including biscuits and a bottle of wine! Dining room has large table and seating for at least six. Lounge is quite small but we didn't spend too much time in there. Two of the bedrooms were a decent size and the third, described as 'cosy', has room for two small beds, just! The beds were clean and comfortable and the linen and towels of good quality. We travelled in 3 cars and there was plenty of car parking right outside the cottage. There are no shops or pubs close by and Bourton-on-the water is a 30 minute walk away along a country road. If needed there are takeaway fish and chip shops and an Indian in Bourton as well as a supermarket that stays open quite late. There are also numerous pubs and restaurants there.
