Description

Explore Dorset, the New Forest and beyond in converted Nissan Elgrand campervans. Located in Bournemouth, just two hours from London, it’s a great starting point for exploring the surrounding areas or longer trips further afield to Devon or Cornwall.

Sleeping up to four (two adults and two children), our vans have had a full camper conversion with a with pop top roof, rock and roll bed, kitchenette with a sink, two gas hobs and a fridge. Fully supplied with all the camping and sleeping equipment you might need and even basics such as tea and coffee, you simply need to bring your clothes and your sense of adventure!

Please note there are no sanitary facilities on board our vans - there is no toilet or shower.

Based on a luxury Japanese MPV, our vans feels more like driving a large car than a van and can easily fit into normal parking spaces. With an automatic gearbox, powerful engine and 4-wheel drive they just eat up the miles.

We can be flexible and want you to enjoy your travels, so if there is anything specific you require let us know and we’ll see how we can help.

Seating

There are two belted pilot seats in the front, and two belted seats in the rear. All have 3 point belts. They all can accommodate child and baby seats (rear and forward facing). The front passenger seat is a swivel chair. Driver and front passenger airbags. There is sociable seating for three people inside the van when stationary (plus foldaway table), and two camping chairs included in the hire for use outside. See extras for additional chairs.

Sleeping

The vans have a narrow double rock and roll bed in the main section of the van which sleeps up to two adults, and the bed in the popup roof would suit either one adult or two small children. See extras for bedding and towels, or you may bring your own.

There are 3 small cupboards available in the kitchenette, 2 to the rear and some space for bags behind the back seats. The vehicles are compact so if you are travelling with several people you will need to pack lightly. We include a small tent which can be used for storage.

We can provide different types of car seat depending on your requirement, please contact us to discuss. You are responsible for fitting it and ensuring your child's safety. (You are welcome to bring your own - just let us know to make sure it will fit.)

House rules

There is a refundable deposit of £500 (may be higher for drivers 21-24) held against damage.
Our vans have 24hr breakdown recovery in case of any issues, and is fully insured for the hirer (depending on meeting insurance criteria). Driver must provide their driving license and a proof of address.
Pets are allowed by prior arrangement only with an additional cleaning fee, please contact us for more details.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
