Peaceful & quiet bay window new EN SUITE Luxury triple family size Bedroom, king & single pull out chair bed, or room for cot, with beautiful GARDEN VIEW (v.comfy pocket sprung bed) - sunny outlook! Nr to public transport,town centre,parks etc.You’ll love its prime location in Talbot Woods,5 mins walk to great shops,nr best beaches in UK,huge gdn,central but quiet area! Use of Superb kitchen w/4-oven aga, excellent car parking facilities and patio for BBQ, dishwasher, state of the Art Miele washing machine with steam technology, laundry facilities,best neighbourhood,excellent leisure club nearby: good for couples,adventurers,business travellers +is ideal for sharers/families(kids).

The space

Its a large Edwardian Arts & Crafts 1909 build character house, pre-Raphaelite era set in a half acre, some stained glass windows, superb garden views in the house, fantastic location nr Winton shops & Waitrose & Lidl open to 8 pm & 10 pm respectively only 5 mins walk away. In total,there are 2 king size en suites (all are subject to availability)and 2 further bedrooms (1 king size & 1 twin size zip&link, with shared bathroom) in the main house, plus there's a 3 BR apt on top floor (sleeps 9). Extra mattress and linens in any room is only £22 a night. Excellent facilities in the main house include dining room, living room,Laundry/utility room,ground floor cloakroom, massive garden,ample offroad parking!

High speed Wi fi throughout. SKY TV with movie & sports channels. Rooms have original coving & original art work throughout. Serene & restful house with welcoming atmosphere. Classy attractive neighbourhood with West Hants club just a 2 minute walk away with tennis, squash, gym,swimming, fine dining, live music etc & a creche for little ones.

The house can accept individuals or couples or families. It is also ideal for groups on a special occasion, (subject to availability of course - just enquire to book ahead) of up to 10 people in the main house and up to 9 people on the top floor (19 in total). The whole house could be a potentially lovely wedding or special event venue at the right time of year with a marquis in the private half acre garden which is not overlooked (special event rates apply, please enquire, deposit required) & you could have your own outside caterers.

Easy access to Bournemouth's many attractions, Dorset beauty spots to visit, windsurfing at Sandbacks just 15 mins drive away, a choice of Blue Flag beaches and great nightlife.

Guest access

Huge garden with offroad parking, attractive Dining room on ground floor (seats 10), well equipped kitchen with 4-oven aga and dishwasher & all mod cons, some use of living room,Laundry/utility room, ground floor cloaks/WC...when I'm away my bedroom is kept locked but the main house sleeps up to 10 people & can be booked as a whole unit, otherwise it is shared with others who may be staying on other private bookings. It can be booked as a whole unit at certain times by prior arrangement (sleeps 20-22 people including top floor apartment & 4-6 fold out beds) subject to availability. Please enquire for details & availability.

Interaction with guests

I'm available by phone etc if overseas travelling, or else in person when I visit UK a few times a year; help is always on hand! My home helper will co -host in my absence and is very kind and accommodating. I'm accessible in order to make sure your stay is brilliant, happy and enjoyable

Other things to note

Bournemouth has great beaches (blue Flag award for cleanliness), and many beautiful sites including National Trust - Old Harry's Rocks, the Purbecks,Swanage,Christchurch, New Milton - many fabulous outings with special offers available via tourist information.House is located just a half mile from beaches and from the lovely RUSSELL COTES Museum nr Bournemouth Town centre, Odeon cinemas, BIC for major events, theatres, nightclubs,theatres etc much to do & see in Dorset, you can take a ferry across to the nudist beach nr Swanage or visit Brownsea Island castle, take a picnic at the Brownsea Nature reserve with a boat ride, go windsurfing at sandbanks, take the children to Alice in Wonderland , Old Harry's Rocks, the beautiful Purbecks, Lymington, New Milton, glorious Christchurch or just enjoy bird-spotting and mingling with wildlife via a boat etc! There are some great Festivals in the area including Food Festivals, Spring & Summer Festivals or interesting spiritual-growth courses at Gaunts House (highly recommended events),golden sand clean beaches, superb woodland walks, enjoy a visit to Poole harbour (the largest natural harbour in UK),Poole Park with lots of fun for children, even Boscombe Market and Antiques shows etc etc - whatever interests you, Dorset offers it!
