Description

This ground floor self catering apartment has been fitted to a very high standard and is a real home from home.

The apartment consists of a spacious open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area, a large master bedroom with super king size (6 feet wide) bed and en suite bathroom, a twin bedroom and a further luxury family bathroom.

The comfortable lounge area has seating for at least six people, a 32” LCD Freeview TV, DVD player and a Bluetooth wireless speaker. A flame effect wall fire creates a cosy atmosphere and an extra boost of heat in the cooler months.

The well equipped kitchen comes with double oven and hob, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher and microwave as well as the wide variety of cooking equipment you would expect to find in your own kitchen - including a Nespresso coffee machine. There is a dining table seating up to six people and a breakfast bar with four bar stools. Both spacious bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and TV/DVDs. A full size travel cot and a highchair are available upon request.

The apartment, which is accessed directly from the car park at the rear of Burlington Mansions apartments, is just 500m from Boscombe Pier and seven miles of award winning sandy beaches, making it the ideal location for a family holiday and for those wishing to make the most of Bournemouth's many day and night time attractions in summer or winter. The communal sun terrace at the rear of Burlington Mansions is easily reached from the apartment and is an ideal spot to enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.

Free unlimited WiFi internet helps you keep in touch with the outside world and makes the apartment a much more comfortable alternative to staying in a hotel for anyone working away from home. Over 50% of our 2018 bookings were from guests who have stayed before.

Well located apartment a short walk to the beach, shops and buses. Inside the apartment it is 5* with every you could need, the owner - Julia was great, with precise instructions and good communication, we look forward to returning in the near future.

This was our first trip to southern England and our stay here made our trip so much better. The flat (apartment as we Americans call it) was very clean and stocked with more than just the essentials. It had everything you'll need for a two week stay...even electrical converters. We liked that there were no stairs to climb and had quick access to our parking spot. Very children friendly. Julia was a dream to book with as she kept the lines of communication open and the flat was everything she promised. She will be the first we call when we return to the area!

We just finished our 3rd stay at Burlington Mansions and have booked ourselves in for next year too. Our kids were 0 and 2 when we first came, and next year will be 5 and 6. The flat is kept impeccably clean, and is equipped with everything you could need, including wifi, 2 bathrooms, DVDs for everyone, toys, beach stuff, coffee maker... I could go on. The main living space is comfortable and well organised, and the location is fantastic, a 5 minute toddler's walk to Boscombe pier, the Chine Gardens water play area and the shops, and with an array of family days out nearby. We prefer the beaches at Boscombe to Bournemouth - fewer commercial pressures, less crowded, range of lovely coffee places - but it makes a great trip to get the land train down the beach to Bournemouth and sometimes on to Alum Chine. Every time we come, we discover new places to visit that we all love, alongside the ones we always prioritise, like Moors Valley Country Park (15 min drive) and Hengistbury Head (this year we walked from Tuckton to Hengistbury Head visitor centre, got the land train to the beach, then the ferry back to Tuckton). There are 2 parking spaces right outside the flat, and a grassy area that our kids call the secret garden. It's quiet at night except when there are events on at the beach such as the summer fireworks displays which are worth staying up for anyway. With so many options and such a homely place to come back to, booking again is a no-brainer for us while the kids are still young.

We were a little concerned about renting a ground floor flat however the flat has no neighbours above or on 2 sides so it was quiet and peaceful. Its exceptionally well equipped and tastefully furnished There were at least 4 pairs of scissors in the kitchen drawer! The arrival instructions were simple and easily followed.The heating worked well and the flat was spacious and has a warm and welcoming feel. On the minus side The master bed was very hard and we resorted to sleeping in the second bedroom. Overall would recommend the Flat and the owners who take pride in producing a first rate product

This apartment has everything needed for a great holiday. Equipped for days on the beach, and time inside if the weather is poor.The location is quiet, but 10 minute's walk to either the beach and restaurants, or the town and supermarket, with some good places to eat. Boscombe is a good location for trips to the bustling city of Bournemouth, or hire bikes, and cycle to Hengistbury Head for the nature reserve. Booking and arrival process were flawless.

Fantastic stay. Apartment is well maintained and clean. Plenty of toys for young children so no need to take your own. Also cutlery, plates,cups etc for younger children is all there as is a selection of DVDs. We would stay here again. Our daughter was in tears - she didn't want to leave!

We found the apartment to be well presented with designated parking close to the flat for 2 cars. The bedrooms are large and with all linen and beds made and the ensuite and guest bathrooms follow suit and are well stocked with towels. The flat is excellently located for both Boscombe's town shopping and the beach. Thanks Julia, 10/10

“Luxurious Apartment - cannot be beaten!”

This is the best apartment we have ever rented. The owner, Julia, is extremely helpful and makes the booking process very easy, with fantastic communication. Absolutely everything you could possibly need is provided and you are made very welcome with the provision of tea, coffee, etc and even a bottle of wine on arrival! Thank you Julia. The apartment is exceptionally clean and bright and is exactly as pictured. Reassuring to be able to see the car in the parking bay from the window. Extremely quiet both day and night. The apartment is easily within walking distance of all amenities, beach 5 mins down a slight hill and town/shops only 5 mins in the opposite direction. We used the car to visit the New Forest, Sandbanks (lovely beach and good crazy golf), Poole, Tuckton Tea Gardens (we took out a motor boat on the river and again played crazy golf), Christchurch Quay, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. All well worth visiting. We would highly recommend this apartment and we are hoping to book again soon.

We throughly enjoyed our stay here. The flat is well equipped and not just the kitchen. It has everything you could need for a rainy day in, numerous dvds and games as well as having all the kit for a day on the beach. The location is great only a stones throw from the beach and local shops and cafes! The recommendations book is a great idea with some useful suggestions of things to do in the area. Altogether a great place.
