A charming small block of four apartments in the very heart of Bournemouth, just a short walk to the beach or shops. The Farthings are charming and each of the apartments has their own charm and character, they are fitted out to a high standard with quality fittings and furnishings. You can almost fall out of bed onto the beach.

Just perfect for a quiet and peaceful family break or a couple of adults sharing, No groups please.

Apartment 4 is on the ground floor and has its own front door. There are two bedrooms, an en suite bathroom and separate shower off the Hall. This gives you a double bed and a pair of bunks. Travel cot and High chair available upon request. This apartment is suitable for a family of four. We have one car (not bigger) parking space for each apartment.

Bournemouth and Dorset are amazing, the coast is stunning with mile after mile of sandy beaches, bays and clear water. Further West is the Jurassic coast with caves, rocky cliffs and amazing coastal walks. Inland the countryside is varied with hills and pasture sprinkled with little villages and enticing market towns.

Bournemouth its self offers something for every one, coffee shops, international dinning and a club life awakens at night like wellie boots on a wet day. This is an amazing place to stay, enjoy and take away in your heart.

Getting around

Trains run from Bournemouth travel interchange, (1.5Km) to the west (Weymouth) and north east to London. Local Buses run all over the area and the closest stop is (50 meters). Coaches run to most destinations from the travel interchange, (1.5Km) Your legs should take you everywhere from the town centre, the beach and pier. If your legs are tired or don't work then the local taxi service is comprehensive. Please ask us if we can help in any way further.

“didn't live up to expectations and overpriced for what it actually is”

No proper terrace, where does a child play, no sun after 6pm, facing a hedge, no view at all, except of blocks of flats Taps don't turn off, too stiff to fully close? Shower handle almost too stiff to use Difficult walk to the beach - steep - doesn't feel like 400m Overly secure, too many locks and gates! Dark rooms/lighting doesn't make up for it Not enough plug sockets in the right places Bournemouth parking is a real pain No smoking outside is not reasonable and was not in the contract Good:- Kitchen well equipped Clean and functional Beds are comfortable Trees are beautiful

This was our fifth visit to No. 4 Farthings - a spacious, comfortable apartment just a few minutes walk to the sea front. A surprisingly quiet location with a bus stop around the corner. We hope to visit next year and would highly recommend the apartment.

We are two seniors who wanted a clean, well-equipped, ground floor apartment near the center of Bournemouth and we found it. As we live abroad we appreciated Stephen welcoming us to the apartment and explaining how things worked. There is a bus stop very near and we used the buses occasionally to save walking back up the hill. Across the road from The Farthings is a petrol station with a shop that sold bread, milk, etc. We found interesting places to eat at the Lansdowne and on Old Christchurch Road and ASDA and Lidl grocery stores were within walking distance. It was the perfect choice for our stay in Bournemouth.

Just spent a midweek break there( are second visit ) apartment clean, tidy with all mod cons turned up in torrential rain Stephen the owner came out unlocked parking barrier & flat to save us getting wet what a gent. Nothing is never to much trouble for the pair of them you feel like one of the family, will definitely re-book it is 5 star in every respect.

It is a fantastic apartment & Stephen met us on our arrival and was extremely pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be returning. There is no need for a car as the apartment is close to both the seafront, shops, buses etc. The apartment has everything you could ask for - including WiFi/internet which seems to be what so many now want.

The apartment was perfect for two adults and two children. The apartment had everything we needed for a week stay. The best part was its location. You can't find a better place to stay in Bournemouth; it was in the middle of the citycenter and still a quiet place, and a 5 minute walk to the beach.

We stayed for a week, three adults and two small children, Stephen was very helpful, the apartment had everything we needed, 5 minutes walk from the lift down to the beach, perfect with two pushchairs and beach kit! Would definitely stay here again.

This holiday apartment is very close to the beach and all other attractions. The accommodation is spacious and had everything including heating in June as the nights were rather cool and I had an elderly person staying with me. This was a very nice surprise along with the peaceful location. Would definitely like to visit again.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
