The Farthings are a modern purpose built block of apartments. Each apartment is individually furnished to a high standard. The holiday atmosphere starts as the electric gates open and let you into the development.
A charming small block of four apartments in the very heart of Bournemouth, just a short walk to the beach or shops. The Farthings are charming and each of the apartments has their own charm and character, they are fitted out to a high standard with quality fittings and furnishings. You can almost fall out of bed onto the beach.
Just perfect for a quiet and peaceful break or longer stay, No groups please.
If you have children you should be aware that the stairs exit from the central hallway to the ground floor entrance hall. Upper Farthings 2 is on the first floor and has its own front door, entrance hall and stairs to its landing/hallway. The bedrooms have a double bed, there is an ensuite off the main bedroom and separate shower room off the Hall. Four will sleep in great comfort. We have one car (not bigger) parking space for each apartment.
Bournemouth and Dorset are amazing, the coast is stunning with mile after mile of sandy beaches, bays and clear water. Further West is the Jurassic coast with caves, rocky cliffs and amazing coastal walks. Inland the countryside is varied with hills and pasture sprinkled with little villages and enticing market towns.
Bournemouth its self offers something for every one, coffee shops, international dinning and a delight around every corner. This is an amazing place to stay, enjoy and take away in your heart.

“well located clean apartment”
ideal for using the buses (as parking spaces were on the small size so we decided to leave the car where it was). The apartment was well appointed and nice and clean. It had plenty of room for storage.
“Ideally situated for beach and town”
The location is convenient for beach, gardens and town centre. We never needed to use the car as there is an excellent bus service a few yards from the front door. There was secure parking for each flat. The flat is comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well equipped with plentiful crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils, as well as dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge/freezer. We stayed during a very hot spell & found it to be easy to cool down. Check-in was simple, the owner was easy to contact & responded promptly. We loved the flat & hope to return soon.

“Lovely apartment, convenient and well equipped”
We enjoyed our stay at The Farthings. It is a lovely apartment, very well equipped and the car parking was invaluable. It was not as quiet as we had hoped because it is situated near to a busy roundabout and we were woken at 5.30 am every morning with deliveries to the hotel next-door. However, this did not spoil our stay as we are early risers. Also, the location is very convenient for the promenade, pier and town.

“2 The Farthings at Bournemouth”
Great little apartment! A real delight. Easy access to town Centre and Beaches, Easy 2-5 minute walk to either. What a difference having secured allocated parking. Apartment itself was very well equipped, light and airy. Would stay again at the drop of a hat. Dish Washer and Washing machine were a real boon.

“Lovely flat in central location”
We very much enjoyed our stay in this spacious, clean, and well-equipped apartment. Despite its central location the flat was very quiet. Onsite parking and wifi were a nice bonus. Communication with the owners went very smoothly and they sent us everything we needed to know well in advance of our stay. We found Bournemouth the perfect location to explore both the coast and the New Forest.

“Lovely apartment in a perfect central location.”
We have stayed here before, albeit in a different apartment. The apartment this time had just been refurbished and there were good improvements, the main bedroom as well as being en-suite, also has a dressing room now. New wooden flooring and tiles have been fitted along with a new stair carpet. This apartment is in a quiet but central location, a short walk from the main town, pier and beach, private secure parking is a bonus. Bus routes are virtually outside the apartment in all an ideal holiday (or business) location.
