Description

Sandhills is located in Banks Road on the exclusive Sandbanks peninsula. A spacious flat just a couple of minutes walk from the beach with sea glimpses from the lounge and balcony. Recently refurbished throughout to a very high standard with luxury travatine-tiled bathroom and en suite shower room, flat-screen TV, dishwasher and fridge-freezer with ice-cold filtered water on tap and ice making function - perfect for that refreshing drink after a day at the beach!

A king-sized bed in the master suite.

Child friendly with cot and high chair provided.

Off road parking for one car is included and there is a garage storing children's scooters, buckets, body boards and crab lines.

The apartment is a few minutes walk from the new Rick Stein restaurant on Sandbanks overlooking the harbour.

Getting around

The apartment is ideally situated for the beaches, restaurant and shops all a short walk away. The Sandbanks ferry is a short walk and takes you over to the beautiful national trust beach of Studland. You can go by foot and it is free to return at any time. Alternatively you can take the car over and explore Studland and Purbeck with National Trust Corfe Castle about a 20 minute drive. It's easy to pick up the 50 bus in the summer called the Purbeck Breezer as you can sit upstairs on the open top deck and take in the views to Swanage with the bus having priority on the ferry you don't have to queue and it's fun for children. You can also get the steam train at Swanage to Corfe and back.

“Half term break”

Wow! What a lovely place to stay. Myself and my family have just returned from a week in Sandbanks staying at 9 Sandhills. We had a fantastic break, all helped by the lovely apartment we rented. From our first contact with Heather things ran really smoothly. Heather was a pleasure to deal with, answering our emails and questions really quickly. The apartment was beautiful, spacious and really well equipt with the added bonus of being really close to the beach. We all had a great week and didn't want to leave. We would reccommend this apartment and hope to return again soon!

“A really wonderful position with amazing owner.”

We stayed for the weekend (Fri -Sun) at the end of half term. It was quite a last minute decision to go away and the attention to detail by the owner was the best we have ever had. Nothing was too much trouble, Heather provided lots of information about the flat and the surrounding area as well as letting us know that there might be trouble parking as some work was being done by contractors nearby. There weren't any problems but we appreciated the heads up. We have stayed in Swanage and Bournemouth many times but this flat was in the best position for beach, the car ferry and Bournemouth and Poole. A lovely tesco express nearby served us well and the flat was very well equipped. We appreciated the travel cot and high chair in particular. We would have revisited anyway but Heather's excellent service mean we will return even sooner!

“Brilliant accommodation”

The flat was very spacious, modern and comfortable. Two luxury bathrooms and a very well equipped kitchen. Lounge is large with lovely leather sofas. Literally three minutes walk to Sandbanks beach. All in all, a great flat to stay in. Highly recommended.

We had a fabulous time at this apartment; as all the previous people said, it is really really spacious. Very modern, huge bedrooms and lovely outlook from the livingroom. The location was wonderful for day trips to The Jurassic Coast, Corfe Castle and Brownsea Island which were all very worthwhile. Stunning, child friendly beach just opposite and a couple of eating options within walking distance. A great holiday and a great apartment.

I stayed in this apartment with my two sons aged 9 and 4 and found it to be spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. It is very close to the beach and ferry and easy to get out for walks and cycling etc. Great spot and would recommend highly.

We stayed with our three small boys in Feb and March 2012.The Apartment was just as advertised, well kitted out and bright, with good standard of furniture and a very well equipped kitchen.The location was perfect for the kids, an easy walk to gorgeous Sandbanks beach, as well as to local restaurants and cafe, or to the Sanbanks ferry.The owner was very helpful and able to recommend local amenities.
