Description

A charming small block of four apartments in the very heart of Bournemouth, just a short walk to the beach or shops. The Farthings are charming and each of the apartments has their own charm and character, they are fitted out to a high standard with quality fittings and furnishings. You can almost fall out of bed onto the beach. Just perfect for a quiet and peaceful break for a couple or adults sharing; No groups please. If we have agreed to have your dog please do not leave them home alone, a sad barking dog is not good for us or your loved one.

Apartment 1 is on the Ground floor and has its own front door. There are two bedrooms, a double and a single and a shower room off the Hall. This apartment is very comfortable for three.

We have one car (not bigger) parking space for each apartment.

Bournemouth and Dorset are amazing, the coast is stunning with mile after mile of sandy beaches, bays and clear water. Further West is the Jurassic coast with caves, rocky cliffs and amazing coastal walks. Inland the countryside is varied with hills and pasture sprinkled with little villages and enticing market towns.

Bournemouth its self offers something for every one, coffee shops, international dinning and a delight around every corner. This is an amazing place to stay, enjoy and take away in your heart.

Getting around

Trains run from Bournemouth travel interchange, (1.5Km) to the west (Weymouth) and north east to London. Local Buses run all over the area and the closest stop is (50 meters). Coaches run to most destinations from the travel interchange, (1.5Km) Your legs should take you everywhere from the town centre, the beach and pier. If your legs are tired or don't work then the local taxi service is comprehensive. Please ask us if we can help in any way further.

Recently stayed in this apartment for 3 nights and had a lovely peaceful break. Easy access to beach and shops, secure parking and very quiet location. Beds very comfortable and all we needed as a home from home. Plenty of choice for eating out and taxi from the centre was less than £5. Would very much recommend and would return.

The flat is well placed on the edge of Bournemouth town and very close to the beach and coastal walks. The flat itself is spacious and well appointed. It is ideal for a couple or three people. We also took our dog, although there was not a secure area for her to be allowed out into. Nevertheless, there were a number of good dog walking areas nearby. would definitely stay again.

The location is perfect for beach and town centre, we have stayed at The Farthings many times, however this was the first time in flat 2, the flat has everything you need and as always is lovely and clean, can not fault anything about this accommodation. We'll be visiting again!!

This is a return visit to the Farthings as we previously stayed in No. 4. It was a great holiday in a superb apartment. We like the fact it is close to both shops & sea. There is little need to use the car especially as there is an excellent bus service with a stop within a short walk of the property. The apartment is well equipped & has everything needed for a lovely holiday.

“Lovely apartment with great facilities and very close to amenities”

The apartment was top notch, having stayed in number 4 a few years ago I already knew the location and apartment number 1 was just as good as I expected it to be. Lovely and clean, everything in the apartment you could want, nice and warm and cosy. I visited Bournemouth for the Christmas shopping experience of the Germany market and Christmas gardens which were lovely.

We know as we can be as busy in November as April or August. Our new boilers keep us toasty warm all year round and provide endless hot showers. See you again we hope.

This centrally located apartment with secure parking and very pleasant surroundings is very good value for money. The large living area and outdoor seating were particularly welcome. Clean and well equipped, our only criticism is that the décor and carpet is a bit tire. Steven the owner came midweek to introduce himself and was very pleasant and I am sure, in the event of a problem, would be very helpful. The next time we want to stay in this area, we will certainly come back to Farthings.

The town and beach are both extremely close, which is perfect when you have teenagers who want to be a little independent. The flat itself did not want for anything, it was clean, comfortable and the kitchen items were above average in quality for a rental. Even though it is near a fairly busy roundabout, inside the apartment, it is quiet. We were also delighted that we could take our dog on holiday. Also, based on other rentals, it was rather nice that we were not bombarded with a long list of rules and regulations, although I do understand the need at times.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
