A charming small block of four apartments in the very heart of Bournemouth, just a short walk to the beach or shops. The Farthings are charming and each of the apartments has their own charm and character, they are fitted out to a high standard with quality fittings and furnishings. You can almost fall out of bed onto the beach. Just perfect for a quiet and peaceful break for a couple or adults sharing; No groups please.Apartment 1 is on the Ground floor and has its own front door. There are two bedrooms, a double and a single and a shower room off the Hall. This apartment is very comfortable for three. We have one car (not bigger) parking space for each apartment.Bournemouth and Dorset are amazing, the coast is stunning with mile after mile of sandy beaches, bays and clear water. Further West is the Jurassic coast with caves, rocky cliffs and amazing coastal walks. Inland the countryside is varied with hills and pasture sprinkled with little villages and enticing market towns.Bournemouth its self offers something for every one, coffee shops, international dinning and a delight around every corner. This is an amazing place to stay, enjoy and take away in your heart.

The Dorset region

Further along the coast to the East is the Solent and the gem of the Isle of Wight, to the West is the magnificent Dorset coastline with its bays and coves. Inland the county has much to offer with the New Forest national park to the North and rolling hardy countryside to the West.

We have wonderful warm winters being on the coast and in the heat of the summer cooing sea breezes come in over the town blowing any clouds inland and keeping the tempratures near to perfect.

"Lovely apartment with great facilities and very close to amenities"

The apartment was top notch, having stayed in number 4 a few years ago I already knew the location and apartment number 1 was just as good as I expected it to be. Lovely and clean, everything in the apartment you could want, nice and warm and cosy. I visited Bournemouth for the Christmas shopping experience of the Germany market and Christmas gardens which were lovely.

Lovely to have you to stay again and thank you for taking the time to write your review. Bournemouth is such an amazing sea side town, with something to do all year round. We know as we can be as busy in November as April or August. Our new boilers keep us toasty warm all year round and provide endless hot showers. See you again we hope.

"Lovely apartment in an excellent location!"

This centrally located apartment with secure parking and very pleasant surroundings is very good value for money. The large living area and outdoor seating were particularly welcome. Clean and well equipped, our only criticism is that the décor and carpet is a bit tire. Steven the owner came midweek to introduce himself and was very pleasant and I am sure, in the event of a problem, would be very helpful. The next time we want to stay in this area, we will certainly come back to Farthings.

So nice to meet you both and many thanks for the review, These reviews are very much appreciated by ourselves and more so by new guests hoping to book. We are in a constant state of listening to our clients and in this case we had already booked in new carpets to be fitted in early October. We look forward to hosting you again soon. The weather continues to bless us here in Bournemouth through September and indications are that early October is looking good as in many years before.

"Bournemouth central, the location is perfect"

The town and beach are both extremely close, which is perfect when you have teenagers who want to be a little independent. The flat itself did not want for anything, it was clean, comfortable and the kitchen items were above average in quality for a rental. Even though it is near a fairly busy roundabout, inside the apartment, it is quiet. We were also delighted that we could take our dog on holiday. Also, based on other rentals, it was rather nice that we were not bombarded with a long list of rules and regulations, although I do understand the need at times.

What a lovely review and thank you for taking the time to write. Our new pending guests will always welcome our clients reviews and we also listen to comments when we can improve our game. We are however blessed with an amazing location and that will never change. Location Location Location.

We had a very enjoyable stay- location, facilities, customer service all top marks!! These flats are a credit to you both! Location was brilliant and we really had a fantastic stay! We will be returning again! The added extras were brilliant and very well thought out! Many thanks! There wasn't anything negative about our stay.

"beautiful apartment, excellant location"

I stayed in the apartment with my husband and 2 year old child, found the apartment to be well equipped with everything you need for a short break away. The apartment is a short distance from the beach and town centre, found it to be in a fairly quite location, I would recommend the apartment and would stay here again in the future

"Spacious appartment in an excellent location!"

Brilliant location and excellent facilities, despite not being able to get many channels on the TV. Very spacious, with a very comfortable bed, perfect for a seaside vacation!

"Good value, well located apartment - great communication with owners"

Well situated, just 5 minutes walk from Bournemouth pier, with private parking, this apartment has all you need for a short or medium stay in the heart of Bournemouth. The fourth berth, a sofa bed, will not be to everybody's liking, but is fine for child or parent. Good communication with the owners lends to a pleasant experience, and it's good value for the area : would recommend

"A comfortable, spacious, ideally situated holiday apartment"

This was our second visit because The Farthings is so close to all the amenities of central Bournemouth and the sea front, with secure off-street car parking and adjacent to a bus stop for all the main routes. Although close to a busy roundabout the property is secluded, quiet, with trees and vegetation. We are always impressed with the cleanliness, general preparation, and kitchen facilities. The only criticism is that sometimes the cistern needs several attempts to flush the WC and is slow to fill but in no way does this affect our overall satisfaction and enjoyment of our holiday
