Private Manor House East Wing set in private grounds of over 1 acre. Large Dining room to seat all guests in comfort. Accommodation for 12-18 guests.The East Wing was built in 1920 and has many original wooden features. Modern kitchen with granite worktops.Lounge with Large TV and SKY sports . Dining room for 18 right adjacent to the patio and conservatory. 6 bedrooms comprising Bed1 sleeps 3 single, with en suite. Bed 2 sleeps 4, king plus 2 single, with en suite. Bed 3 sleeps 1. Bed 4 sleeps 3, 1 king 1 single, with ensuite. Bed 5 sleeps 3, 1 single, 1king. Bedroom 6 dormitory style sleeps 4 single.

WE HAVE A FANTASTIC LOCATION JUST A FEW HUNDRED YARDS FROM WESTBOURNE WITH ALL ITS BARS, RESTAURANTS, TAXI RANK, SUPERMARKETS. BOURNEMOUTH TOWN CENTRE IS JUST 1.5 MILES AWAY AND THE BEST BEACH AT BRANKSOME IS JUST OVER ONE MILE.

We are located close to many day activities such as, coastal walking, Bournemouth Premier FC, paintball and many more. Bournemouth is also well known with for its vibrant night clubs and variety of restaurants. .Burton Manor is perfect for families, with our award winning beaches so close, it makes perfect family fun time. “Excellent stay for big groups”

I booked Burton Manor for a stag weekend and it worked out really well. Although very clean the property's not in the best condition but that didn't bother us because we just wanted to relax and enjoy some food and drink. On the Saturday night we walked into town via the Mint Leaf restaurant and then hit some bars. There are some unusual features: the house is split into two wings which are right next to each other so if there was another group you might hear each other. There was a big open communal bedroom on the ground floor which isn't ideal if you want to retire from festivities early in the evening. On the plus side the kitchen was huge and well equipped so we had no problem catering for ourselves. We even had a BBQ on the Friday night.

For such a large group (17) I was really surprised and pleased to find such a great place. It's located really close to Westbourne, and 15mins walking from the beach. We only stayed for the weekend, but would have really enjoyed the chance to stay longer. The house was clean and modern, and whilst if you're really looking you can see little bits of wear and tear, it was a really lovely place to stay and everyone in our group was impressed. There's a large back garden to relax in and a barbecue. The family who run the house and the adjacent property were very friendly and accommodating to our needs - I couldn't have asked for more.

Good communications throughout and superb property located ideally for both Poole or Bouremouth. All the facilities you need for a great stay including garden furniture and BBQ with great garden lawn and surroundings for a bit of fun!! Great alternative to a hotel, meaning all the party is always together and not isolated or restricted by hotel rooms or other guests. Everyone agreed that this was a great weekend away in part to Burton Manor

This is a good house for a large group but has its flaws too. There were 3 showers between 21 people but only 1 worked properly. For the second day we gave up on the 2 upstairs and had to queue for just the 1. There are also many imperfections that need fixing for example a dangerous, loose stair carpet, broken toilet locks that fall off, cheap plastic kitchen cabinet covers that are falling off and breaking up, horrible damp patches in the dining area and faulty appliances in the kitchen. The house has so much potential but it seems the owner is happy to leave the faults unfixed and take the money. I would recommend this to a friend but I would warn them to expect their stay to be tainted by the above. Bottom line: Spend some money and you greatly improve the experience.

Owner's reply: All three showers work properly. The two upstairs one is gravity fed and you have to wait approx 1 minute and the other is electric top of the range and you just have to switch it ON.

“Characterful, spacious house ideal for a hen or stag do”

If you're looking to book reasonably priced accommodation near Bournemouth Burton Manor is ideal for a hen do. It's a 15 minute bus journey from Bournemouth (the house itself is in Poole) and a 3 minute drive/10 minute walk to the local (large) Tesco. Set in a quiet leafy residential area, the house is very private and full of character. The rooms are quite mixed, ranging from a luxury double + single with a lovely ensuite to a 7 bed dorm style room with no blinds on the windows (we put some towels up!). We had a party of 18 and the house was a perfect size along with a super outdoor patio and garden, good sized kitchen and massive dining room ideal for a night in with a takeaway. Keren, the manageress, was really friendly and helpful and responded quickly to all my questions. I would definitely recommend this rental for anyone who is organising a big hen or stag do and want to be on the doorstep of lovely Bournemouth.

Really pleased with the house we were staying in the East wing. Nice large rooms with 4 bathrooms which is handy for a house full of girls. Only 5 mins drive from Bournmouth. Nice conservatory area and we were fortunate to have great weather all weekend and could make use of the patio and garden area. The kitchen was fully equipped although I would recommend more tea towels/cleaning equipment. You have the option to check out on the day up to 4:30pm which is great when you have had a late night! There was a stag do staying in the West Wing however the way the house is designed you would not have known they were there. We had a perfect weekend and would definately recommend this place.

21 of us had an awesome weekend in the West Wing of Burton Manor! It was the ideal set up, complete with games room and outdoor patio for the BBQ! Big thanks to Keren, the house manager, for helping with the booking and providing assistance with the catering. Will definitely recommend to others!

A large group of ladies stayed here for a hen weekend - the house was lovely, great facilities, very clean and all that you would need including a lovely terrace to drink your champagne on in the afternoon sunshine, what more could you ask?!. The lovely sitting room and dining room were adequate space for us all as were the bedrooms - the set up being one long room with 7 beds, a single, a double and 2 doubles which also had a single bed - great for either a single sex group or maybe 3 families. The mattresses all looked and felt new! We all said we would return again whether with friends or family. Well situated for town (£7 in a taxi) and a lovely 30 minutes walk to Branksome beach which was delightful.

Clean, well equiped excellent large accomodation, close to town and with easy reach of all amenaties, tesco just round the corner. I would highly recommend using this this for ethier a big family gathering, hen or stag.
