Description

The Garden Cottage is a modern, open plan cottage set in the affluent and desirable area of Banksome Park, Poole. The cottage is recently converted and offers all the expected mod cons and luxurious touches associated from a Boutique retreat. With 2 bedrooms and flexible sleeping arrangement it offers excellent family or friends orientated accommodation.

The cottage is approached along a quiet and secluded residential street. Parking is available for 2 cars on the driveway and there is plenty of on-street parking. Upon entering the property you are greeted with an exceptionally bright, vaulted open plan living space. The cozy lounge area includes a large comfy sofa with flat screen TV, HI-Fi, WIFI and log burning stove. If required the sofa can be opened into double bed. The kitchen contains all new, modern appliances including an oven, electric hobs, dishwasher, nespresso machine and microwave. A basic welcoming kit is provided on arriving. Plenty of storage is available and includes an integrated fridge and freezer. The dinning table can comfortably seat 6 persons. Large patio doors give access to the secluded and peaceful garden. Outdoor seating and dinning options are provided on the main patio and deck area.

Climbing a few stairs leads to the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a second bedroom next to the family toilet, shower room and separate laundry. The light and airy master bedroom contains a king size bed, wardrobe and draw spaces and flatscreen tv. Connected is the en-suite with bath / shower, toilet and sink with vanity mirror. The second bedroom contains a double bed which can be separated into 2 singles as required. High quality linings and towels are provided. All bedding and towels are changed every 7 days.

The cottage is only a 15 minute walk from either the centre of Westbourne and all the trendy shops, bars and restaurants that it has to offers or beach access through Branksome Chine. Further afield there is easy access onto the A35 or A338 which will take you into Poole Quay or the Bournemouth town centre respectively.

Getting around

The nearest shops, restaurants and beaches are only a short walk away. The open top bus stops nearby heading either into Bournemouth, Poole or Swanage. A direct train into London can be caught from the local train station.

Interaction with guest

We always aim to meet our guests on arrival with the key for the property and to give a brief tour and answer any questions. If this is not possible then the keys will be left in a safe place and we will exchange full details over email prior to arrival. With staying at the property we are at hand to answer all queries that any of our guest may have either with regards to the property or what to do in the local area. A guest book with all information is available in the property and there are lots of leaflets and tourist guides that have been collected over the year.

This is a stylish, modern, open plan property equipped with top quality appliances, really comfy beds and a great patio with sun loungers. The added benefit is that it is in a great location and within walking distance to the fabulous beach. There are some some superb restaurants and beaches close by. Can't wait to return in the winter so that we can try out the log burner!

How do damage deposits work?
