Large twin balcony / terrace and sea glimpses. Watersports, walking and cycling. car not necessary. No pets.

This recently refurbished apartment has a king size master bedroom with ensuite and twin bedded second bedroom. The spacious lounge diner is equipped with a contemporary dining table and 4 chairs, comfortable sofa and chair, flat screen TV surround sound, CD and IPOD player. The lounge and master bedroom lead through patio doors to the furnished balcony.
The Kitchen is equipped with all the mod cons as listed above.
A modern second bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.
For children there is a travel cot, bumper seat for dining and some toys.

Getting around

The apartment is ideally situated for the beaches, restaurant and shops all a short walk away. The Sandbanks ferry is a short walk and takes you over to the beautiful national trust beach of Studland with great views back to Sandbanks and Poole Harbour. We go by foot and it is free to return at any time. Alternatively you can take the car over and explore Studland and Purbeck with National Trust Corfe Castle about a 20 minute drive. Another great option is to pick up the 50 bus in the summer called the Purbeck Breezer as you can sit upstairs on the open top deck and take in the views to Swanage with the bus having priority on the ferry you won't have to queue and the kids will love it. Why not get the steam train at Swanage to Corfe back?

We have stayed here a few times and will be back next year! Apartment has everything you need, great location to beach, 1 minute walk and your there! Right by ferry also (you can be a foot or car passenger) to knoll beach, swanage beach. Ferry to Brown sea Island also. 5 min walk to cafe, shop, crazy golf and play park. Beaches amazing, never packed. Best time is evening, no one there, also see the ships pass by. Kids 8 and 4 loved it! So much to do and lots of time to relax! Another amazing holiday :)

“I am reluctant to say”

I would prefer not to say to avoid a battle with booking our next stay. Please, avoid this property around April as I had to wait about 2 mins to get in and the kitchen was only 99% kitted out. I think this happens every April? It was at least a 2 min walk to the beach which was too sandy; it got all between my toes (apparently, it’s 1min 58 in May and the sand turns into cotton wool). The stay, situation, area, community were amazing, I mean average. The area’s sunsets were awful. My children said April is really bad and recommend all the other months instead.

This is a great find, we will be staying here again, I can not recommend it enough. Two good size bedrooms, one double and one twin bedroom. Two bathrooms, make it a whole lot easier when you have the kids. A good size TV and WiFi, for those rainy days! 2-3 min walk to the most amazing beaches. A kitchen with all the utilities you need to make a good meal. There a few restaurants within walking distance, as well as crazy golf!

“Another fantastic stay!”

2 parents and 2 kids had a great English beach holiday at Sandhills for the second year running. Even carrying a 3 person a kayak to the beach was easy as it is literally accross the road. The appartment has everything we need to make it our home for a couple of weeks and the owner is really easy to deal with and quick to respond. Sandhills is a fantastic base for cycle rides, walks, ferry trips, resturant visits and of course the beach days. Bring on next summer!

Good apartment well kitted out with everything you need. Very clean on arrival. The location is excellent with only a very short walk to the beach path. The owner provided clear instructions regarding the apartment and other useful local info. Would be happy to stay again.

Great position. This lovely 2 bedroom,2 bathroom, apartment is across the road for a lovely award winning blue flag sandy beach Up the road from apartment there is the ferry service,car and foot for Swanage,, Corfe Castle and National Trust beaches etc. There are good restaurants nearby including Rick Stein. This area Dorset has a great picturesque coastline to explore There is an excellent bus service too for Bournemouth and resorts along this coastline I hope to go again to this great apartment very soon.. A lovely holiday..

“Relaxing Easter weekend at Sandbanks”

We stayed at Sandhills over the Easter weekend. We just wanted a chilled out relaxing weekend without any rushing around and that’s exactly what we got. Sandhills is a lovely modern apartment with plenty of space. There was only the two of us so that meant a bathroom each. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the sun with a glass of fizz. It’s easy to get around using the local buses without having to use the car. We went to Bournemouth and Poole on the bus although we were disappointed with Poole as we felt it was a bit run down. We had dinner at Rick Stein and at Shell Bay Restaurant which is easy to get to as a foot passenger on the ferry. The food was excellent at both restaurants. There’s a café by the ferry which does good breakfast baps and the café next to Rick Stein which does nice sandwiches and fries and also sells alcohol. We really enjoyed our stay at Sandhills and would definitely return as there are other places we’d like to visit in the area. There was good communication from the owners and a helpful little booklet which provides lots of information about the apartment and things to do in the surrounding area. We would highly recommend this lovely apartment.

“Wonderful weekend in Sandbanks”

The apartment was stylish, comfortable, well-appointed, spotlessly-clean and in a great position near the lovely beach and ferry to Studland Bay. We were lucky with the weather and went on the beach every day. The block was quiet in a peaceful residential area and we had no trouble parking outside the flats. Arranging the rental was easy and the owners are friendly & welcoming.

“The Perfect Holiday”

We stayed at 4 Sandhills with our 2 children and had a fantastic time. The apartment is lovely and in a perfect location for a family beach holiday. We spent most days on the beautiful sandy beach which is very close to the apartment. A truly stress free option when children can just swim in the sea, play and build sandcastles. There is lots to do in the local area, would highly recommend. Definitely planning a return visit!
