Description

Impressive 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom split level flat/maisonette conveniently located just minutes from Boscombe pier, beach, new artificial reef and many restaurants, bars and shops.

Bed linen and towels are included. A travel cot and highchair are also provided.

Set within the prestigious Burlington Mansions a former Victorian luxury hotel which has been affectionately restored into luxury apartments, each one being unique with many of the original features retained. The flat, suitable for 4 people was newly furnished and redecorated in 2010. It has two entrances and is located on the ground and first floors.

Both the master and twin bedrooms have en-suites and there is a further WC downstairs. The lounge/dining area is very spacious with a large window that lets in lots of natural day light. The kitchen is fully fitted with everything to make this flat perfect for a self-catering holiday.

Burlington Mansions is a 5 minute walk to the beach at Boscombe, with Europe’s 1st artificial reef and pier. A good selection of shops, restaurants and bars can be found in several directions within close proximity. The centre of Boscombe is 5 minutes walking and Bournemouth centre can be reached by car in 10 minutes. Bournemouth beach is a pleasant stroll along from Boscombe beach or a short ride on the Land Train.

Bournemouth has excellent road and rail links to Poole, Southampton and London. Locally there is a good bus network and taxi service. A car is not essential as the beach, shopping and excellent restaurants are all within close proximity.

“Home from Home”

Great apartment. Great location. This is the second time we have stayed in one of Teresa’s apartments. Teresa is an excellent and attentive owner. The instructions provided with the keys detailing access and use of the the parking bollard were clear and concise. The apartment is well fitted out and had everything we needed. The apartment is spacious, light and well kept. The location is excellent being a short walk from the beach and local shops, the main shopping areas in Bournemouth and Castle Point being easily reached with a short drive. We would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and will certainly look to stay here again on our next trip.

I came down to Boscombe with some friends on a surfing/kitesurfing trip, and this was perfect! Really close to a Boscombe beach and only a short trip to a great kitesurfing school in Poole harbour. It felt homely and had loads of space for all us all to stay. We could park right outside and even used the gym. Will definitely book it for our next trip!

We couldn't have asked for more! The apartment is spacious, beautiful and well equipped. Located just a five minutes' walk from the Boscombe Pier, it is perfect for nice strolls on the beach and practising water sports. Supermarkets, restaurants and bars are walking distance from the apartment. And Teresa could not have been more attentive and helpful. We will definitely go back!

Fantastic well equipped apartment with all mod cons. Ideal location a couple minutes walk to Boscombe pier and a ten minute drive to sandbanks and Poole Harbour. Plenty of water sports at both and beautiful walks.

This was the first time for me in the U.K. and my stay at the Boscombe Reef Retreat could not have gone better. The place had everything I needed and then some, it was fully equipped for my needs. I also appreciated how attentive Teresa was to every detail even checking in with me during my stay, which is unheard of in the U.S. The place was also nicely appointed and comfortable. I would highly recommend it and look forward to staying there again.... Great experience!

We have had a lovely two weeks at Burlington Mansions, the whole family have enjoyed staying in such a beautiful, comfortable and well equipped apartment. The apartment had been beautifully decorated and was spotlessly clean, everything you could possible need to make your stay a wonderful one was provided along with information about local attractions and place of interest. Couple that with Boscombe's lovely beach being only 5 minutes walk away and it made for the perfect holiday.

Boscombe Reef Retreat was recommended to us by a friend and we were not disappointed. The apartment itself is very comfortable and the owners had gone out of their way to make everything as easy as possible. The entrance to the apartments was luxurious and we felt like royalty. Added to this the location was situated very close to Boscombe Pier and other multiple attractions making our short break highly enjoyable.

One of the best apartments that we have stayed in this country. It has everything you need, including virgin cable tv. It is spotlessly clean. Great size lounge and dining room. Two en-suites plus downstairs wc and wash basin. Second bedroom with two beds is a tight fit between the beds, but other than that everything top notch.

The apartment is exactly as described - clean, spacious and near all amenities. The property is extremely well-equipped and Burlington Mansions is splendid in itself. The owner was very quick to respond to the initial request and nothing was too much trouble as we had to arrange a non-standard departure date. A great place to relax and enjoy the nearby beach and we shall certainly recommend.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
