Description

A luxurious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with extensive sea views from all rooms and your own large south-facing private terrace.

Located midway between Bournemouth and Christchurch, this apartment is 5 minutes walk from the Blue Flag awarded sandy beaches of Boscombe pier and beachside cafes, and has a range of excellent restaurants and bars in easy reach. It is located within Burlington Mansions, a prestigious Victorian hotel built in the 1850s that has been converted into apartments whilst maintaining a number of the original features including the foyer and shared entrance. The apartment has been fitted with new high quality furnishings for the 2014 season.

The master bedroom has a kingsize bed, fitted wardrobes, a dressing table and an en-suite shower room with toilet. There is direct access onto the terrace (so you have your morning coffee in bed watching the sea, then take breakfast and a book onto the terrace). The second bedroom is fitted with twin 3' single beds and fitted wardrobes to provide plenty of storage space and also has direct sea views.

All new bookings made after 15th June 2015 include linen and towel hire - our housekeeper will make up your bed ahead of arrival.

The main living area has a large 3 seater leather sofa, a pair of armchairs and a dining table and chairs which seats 4. There is a 40" flat-screen TV with FreeView channels and a Blu-ray & DVD player. There is also unlimited wi-fi to use in the apartment.

There is direct access onto the large, south facing roof terrace which is for your exclusive use. The terrace also has a dining table and chairs seating 4 for alfresco lunches (breakfasts, dinners), and we have provided blankets for those early morning or late evenings out there. There are also deckchairs and cushions for the outdoor seating provided to make things even more comfortable.

The kitchen is well catered with a gas hob, an electric oven, a integrated large fridge-freezer and a dishwasher, as well as a washing machine/tumble drier. There is plenty of crockery and cutlery provided, including smaller versions for younger guests and of course all the usual kitchen accessories. The kitchen is accessed off the main living area but is fitted with doors that can be closed off to separate it if required.

The main bathroom has full size bath for a long soak after a day out and about.

All rooms are south facing with sea views.

The flat is on a single level, located on the first floor and serviced by a lift and there are 2 allocated parking spaces for guests' use.

There is a travel cot, bed guard and high chair available at the property for guests' use at no additional charge (please bring bedding for the cot).

Please note that the apartment block is accessed through electronic locks on all the main entrances.

“Baby's first trip to the seaside!”

We had a lovely stay in the apartment. The owners communication from the offset was great. Everything you could need was at the apartment plus lots and lots of cute little extras! (Buckets and spades, games, books, throws to name a few). It was like a home from home! It was really clean and decorated well. The roof terrace had gorgeous views! Location great- only a five minute walk to the beach and a few restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and it made our first trip with a four month old really enjoyable and convienent. Would definitely stay here again :-).

Lovely apartment with fantastic views. We stayed here for the weekend with our 2 Grandsons aged 7&4. We felt at home straight away. Apartment had everything you could need-even plastic plates/cups for the kids & buckets & spades!! We were so lucky with the weather so spent most of the time on the beach (a 5 minute walk) and walked into Bournemouth. Enjoyed a meal at Urban Reef and we recommend the pizzas too at The Wood Oven-both at The Overstrand by the pier. We thought the apartment would be a great place for 2 couples to stay too and handy having 2 car park spaces. We didn't use the car for 2 days but after leaving we visited Swanage via the chain link ferry at Sandbanks and also Studland on the way back-beautiful sandy beaches if you have never been there before would recommend it. Thanks we had a lovely break.

Lovely apartment. Well appointed and very quiet. Good sized bedrooms with plenty of storage. Great to have both a bath and walk in shower. Clean and well looked after. Easy walk along the front to Bournemouth. Good bus service if you don't want to use your car.

This apartment is everything it 'says on the tin'. Great position with view of the sea, luxuriously appointed, large terrace and very quiet. We spent 3 weeks there and were sorry to leave. The only change we would welcome is a sun shade or umbrella as the sun does shine from time to time!
