“Great location, nice apartment, everything you need for children”

Reviewed 21 Oct 2015

The location is perfect, just around the corner from the beach. The apartment is really nice and is very well suited for children as it has everything you need (high chair, travel cot, lots of books, toys and plastic plates/cups/spoons). The owner is very organised and helpful with suggestions for the local area. We had a lovely time and I'm sure we'll stay there again.

Thanks for your kind words - hope to welcome you back soon!

“Perfect stay with young children.”

Reviewed 15 Jun 2015

We had a fantastic week at Sandbourne house, the facilities were fantastic and the children loved all the toys and games, which we made good use of as the weather was very "British " that week. The location was perfect, just a short stroll to the beach and pirate playground, we ate at Vesuvios restaurant on the beach which was also brilliant although would definitely recommend booking, especially on the weekend. Very helpful information, and leaflets of the surrounding areas activities and days out, which was lucky as we were (shamefully) lost without WiFi. Can strongly suggest that you don't lock yourself out of the apartment, although even this was dealt with without any real problems.

“Wonderful flat with lovely details”

Reviewed 9 May 2015

the flat is highly recommendable for families, close to the beach and providing all kind of things you may need. especially the nice contacts to the owner made our holiday perfect.

“Bright apartment close to the beach”

Reviewed 9 Nov 2014

We had a great time at the flat - the weather was really warm for October and my daughter loved the number of different toys available - which was quite unlike any other holiday apartment we have stayed in. The flat was bright, spacious and warm and was only a short walk from the beach and a good playground. The only reason we didn't give the apartment a 5 out of 5 was that the carpets didn't appear to have been vacuumed when we arrived. Think this must have been an oversight though as the surfaces were clean.

“A beautiful, spacious flat by the sea.”

Reviewed 3 Sep 2014

We are a family of 5 (a girl aged 7 & twin boys aged 5) this is our second year of staying at this flat and both times we have had a wonderful time despite the unpredictable British weather! The flat has everything for young families to feel at home, my children loved playing with all the toys, games and reading the books - they were never bored indoors. The kitchen is very well equipped and even had plastic cups, bowls and plates for the children. Unfortunately there is no dishwasher, but this is a small price to pay when everything else is so perfect. The flat was warm, clean and all the beds are very comfortable, we never had a bad nights sleep. Parking in the area is very limited, but the flat has an allocated parking space which was brilliant and we were always able to access it without any problems. The lovely sandy beach is only about a 10 minute walk away, so when the weather was good this is where we spent most of our time. There is also a nice playground next to the beach front. You can pick up the land train from here up to Bournemouth pier if you don't fancy the walk! Overall we love staying at this flat and will definitely be back again.

“Wonderful stylish holiday accomodation with sea views”

Reviewed 3 Sep 2014

We have stayed at this flat now for 5 consecutive Summers and have always had a wonderful time! The flat is in a great position, walkable to Alum Chine and Westbourne with sea views and incredibly well equipped for a family stay. The flat is beautifully furnished and decorated and is very spacious. The sun has always shone on us during our stay but the flat is well equipped with games, toys and films if this isn't the case. Can't recommend highly enough.

“Warm, comfortable and very convenient for sea front.”

Reviewed 15 Mar 2014

We were very pleased with the supply of towels and bed linen. The heating was excellent and very warm for a Winter stay. Sea front near by with long and attractive walks in both directions. If you like to walk go all along the sea front to the Swanage ferry and entry to Poole Harbour. There is a nice little snack bar in the road nearby that sells fried whitebait. Yummy. Walk the other direction past Bournemouth (into the shops if required) then on past Boscombe. If you are really keen, carry on to Hengistbury Head. A comfortable flat, but some confusion about the recycling, it has changed and most things will now go out into the bins.the towel rail in the main bathroom doesn't work, but there is also a second shower, ideal for a family. Plenty of shops in Westbourne, which is a pleasant stroll up through the Chine. A nice place. There is a large dining room if you want to invite friends round.
