Bonham is perfect for family holidays!

We have enjoyed holidays in this house since 2006 and in 2010 decided to branch out into Holiday Lettings. 2016 will be our 7th year letting to family groups and the feedback received has been really positive.

We only let the house during the 6 weeks of the school summer holidays to families. Sorry but it is not available at other times or to adult-only groups.

The house is ideal for sharing by grandparents, parents and children. For this reason the house is suitable for NON SMOKERS only. Equally we have rented to a friendship group consisting of 3 different families. It has all the charm of a large Victorian house with all the comfort of modern fittings and furniture. We were delighted to welcome an Italian family with daughters attending a local language school last summer.

The kitchen with its large island dining space is the heart of this home. Enormous cupboard space is provided, U.S style fridge freezer and all the kitchen equipment you will need for self catering. In addition to the lounge area, there are two double bedrooms downstairs together with a full size family bathroom. Each bedroom is a double, one has an ensuite and there is a full size bathroom with thermostatic controlled shower, upstairs and downstairs.The comfortable sitting room can accommodate up to 12 adults and children. The garden is well equiped with tables and seating for 12 on decking/patio. Young children enjoy the freedom of a spacious secure garden. There is beach/garden play equipment for your use. There are also several beach chairs and a windbreak available.

Our nearest beaches are at Durley, Alum and Branscombe Chines about 10 mins drive. There are excellent shops and eating places in our local high street: Wimborne Road. a large shopping centre at Castle Point and Bournemouth town centre is a short drive.

LOCATION - Bonham is located just north of Bournemouth's central area with easy access to town and beaches. Waterloo Road borders on Talbot Park and Winton neighbourhoods. Well positioned for Poole and Swanage to the west and Christchurch and the New Forest to the east. Wimborne Road is the buzzy local high street with a diverse range of national and local shops, bars, cafés and restaurants. Middle Chine is a 10 minute drive on minor roads and free parking is usually available in West Overcliff Drive. Frequent bus service along Wimborne and Alma Road. The town centre/pier is a pleasant walk through Meyrick Park and Central Gardens. Charminster and Westbourne are nearby with excellent family and adult dining

“First class accommodation and having been twice would not consider staying anywhere else in Bournemouth”

This was our second visit to Bonham having first stayed there for our holiday in 2012. Once we decided that we were again going to holiday in Bournemouth during 2013 there was really only one consideration for accommodation - Bonham! As with last year we found the house to be absolutely brilliant and I cannot recommend it highly enough for large families or groups wishing to holiday in the area. It is extremely spacious (there were 10 people in our party) and very well equipped, The garden is excellent for children (ours had a fantastic time playing hide and seek! ) and the standard of decoration and cleanliness in the house is of the highest quality. The welcome and assistance offered by the owners Judy and Jim was excellent and the layout of the house and garden undoubtedly contributed to what was a great holiday. I would have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this property to potential renters - we cannot wait to return!

Brilliant accommodation - there were 10 of us, 6 adults and 4 children and we never felt overcrowded - it is extremely well equipped, furnished and decorated to a high standard, and the garden is excellent particularly for children. I have no hesitation whatsoever in strongly recommending this accommodation to others - you will love it! The owners Judy and Jim do their utmost to ensure that it is like home from home and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We cannot wait to return for another holiday and having now experienced Bonham we would not consider anywhere else to stay in Bournemouth.

I stayed here for 3 nights with my two sisters and our children (6 children ages from 4-11). The house was lovely and spacious with a great back garden. There were six bedrooms each with a double bed, 2 bathrooms and an ensuite off one bedroom. We certainly felt there was plenty of space even with 6 children!! We were welcomed on arrival by the owners who were very friendly and helpful throughout booking. The main beachfront was approx 10 minute drive depending on traffic (quite busy as we had gorgeous weather). The house was lovely and clean and had all the kitchen essentials you could need. There is a supermarket literally just across the road and other shops very close by which was extremely handy. We throughly enjoyed our mini-break and the kids also had a blast!

We arrived after a long flight and then drive from Heathrow, but were warmly welcomed by the owners even though it was a late check-in. First impressions were very good and the place has spacious, clean and modern feel so we immediately felt comfortable and at home. The location close to all the local facilities and short drive to the best beaches and Bournemouth town centre. Definately good value for money especially if you have the extended family staying and would certainly recommend it to my freinds and family.

Bonham felt like home as soon as we were welcomed by Judy. The space in all the rooms exceded expectations by far. The facilities are first class and the furniture is of excellent quality. We had 12 people staying towards the end of our week holiday and it never felt crowded! We booked Bonham as a base for our holiday while also using it as a base to prepare for our wedding on the last day of the holiday at Highcliffe Castle. This proved to be ideal and we are so pleased we chose Bonham for this. A week of magical memories for all who stayed. Thanks.
