“Fantastic accomodation in ideal location with stunning views”

Reviewed 7 Jan 2017

We recently stayed here for our first ski holiday - myself, my wife and our 6 year old son. It is located close to the fenicular train which takes you to Arc 1600 from where your skiing can begin. The accomodation was warm, cosy and catered for all our needs. A well supplied kitchen with all necessary cooking implementations, ample dining area - inside and outside - and well arranged sleeping quarters. Room to dry your ski gear and washing machine. Just a couple minutes drive from Bourg itself, it offers the best of both worlds - you can emjoy the bussle of the town centre or retreat to the appartment for some peace and quiet. I can not recommend Chez Christo enough and we will certainly be returning for another visit.

Thanks for the positive review and we look forward to welcoming you again.

“Great place to stay for ski ing with a family”

Reviewed 28 Feb 2013

Had a brilliant weeks ski ing, loads of snow great having not skied for 5 years, apartment very comfortable and ideal for us and our extended family. We met up with friends that Alastair introduced to his friends apartment which made the holiday even more enjoyable, eating skiing and catching up on old times. Found a great nursery slope at Les Granges for Jessica to learn to ski, we accessed via the car and no ski pass necessary, virtually had the slope to ourselves, started ski ing from here every day. The mezzanine floor was interesting for my 6ft sons but they didn't complain or bang their heads to much. All in all a great holiday and location thank you so much.

“Excellent weeks skiing and great place to stay”

Reviewed 1 Feb 2013

Five of use stayed for the week in January and it was excellent, brilliant location just on the edge of Bourg, easy to get to and very well maintained. The biggest downside was having to come home. There was plenty of space in the apartment for everyone and it was certainly cosy when returning in the evenings. We traveled down by car and you do need one to get into town and the funicular but that is no big deal. Once at the funicular getting to the slopes is very easy. Plenty of shops in town so easy to get dinner sorted and restaurants for eating out. Definitely worth staying and going back to in the future.

“An Excellent Base for a Family Skiing Holiday”

Reviewed 14 Jan 2013

What a wonderful holiday! 2 families of 4 spent New Year at Chez Christo and we had a great skiing holiday. The apartment is well equipped for the self-catering needs of 2 families. With 2 separate bathrooms, satellite tv, dvd player, ipod docking station, washing machine and good cooking facilities, the apartment allowed us to be very self-sufficient. We travelled by car which is essential to get around the town and over to the funicular in the morning to get up onto the slopes without any trouble. Some people may prefer to ski right to their door but we preferred the charm that Bourg St Maurice had to offer…any my wife appreciated Lidl too. The apartment was easy to find and the owner was extremely professional and helpful – the brochure we received on booking was quite exhaustive. Chez Christo is a lovely warm, well-appointed apartment that we will definitely visit again.

Thanks for the great feedback. We look forward to seeing you again in the future.

“The apartment & its surroundings were just fantastic.”

Reviewed 28 Dec 2011

Chez Christo is a well-equipped spacious apartment that has everything to make a comfortable stay. We stayed in late summer & had superb weather ; breakfast on the balcony each morning with fabulous views of the mountains. Well located apartment for all the activities close by i.e. canoeing, white water rafting, fishing, horse riding, cycling, hiking and paragliding. Excellent facilities & information available for mountain walks & mountain biking. Bourg St Maurice is a lovely traditional savoie town with a welcoming atmosphere & an abundance of organised events. The whole area is a photographer’s paradise with blue skies, snow-capped mountains, luscious green forests, ice blue alpine rivers & alpine meadows.

Thanks very much for your positive response. All the best for 2012.

“Another great stay Chez Christo”

Reviewed 9 Nov 2011

We've stayed 'Chez Christo' 3 or possibly 4 times. We always have a great holiday and the snow and conditions are usually superb. The apartment is warm and cozy and always a welcoming place to be after a hard day skiing. Getting to Les Arcs (via funicular) is easy once you've mastered the early morning routine of getting kids up, fed and dressed in time for to ski school. All in all, a great place to stay. We'll be back in February 2012!

Thanks for your positive review. I know you always have a good time and hope you enjoy your stay again next winter.
