Guests will be taught about the journey from field to barrel and see all the facilities. After the tour guests are invited to participate in a tasting of the whole range including different aged wines via several experiments. There´s also a children´s corner so you don´t have to worry about keeping the little ones entertained.A stay here doesn´t have to be exclusively devoted, if at all, to wine. A whole range of fabulous days out and activities can be enjoyed. There are the sandy beaches on the Atlantic coast for relaxing days, the casino resort of Arcachon, tennis, bike and walking trails, horse-riding, golf courses just 5 minutes from the property and of course restaurants and shops a short drive away. The property itself has a lovely private pool surrounded by sun loungers, lawns and furnished terraces, ideal for moments of relaxation, reading a good book or soaking up the sunshine whilst admiring your idyllic surroundings.  InteriorGuests will have the entire 450sqm chateau to themselves, which can accommodate up to 14 guests. The chateau is elegant in style, immaculately maintained and was redecorated in 2004 to a very high standard, enhancing the original features with complementary antique furnishings whilst skillfully introducing modern amenities. The ground floor consists of grand but not imposing reception rooms. Firstly there is the delightful sitting room with sofas and armchairs, a music centre and 3 large French windows allowing natural light to flood in and affording views over the parkland. This room leads onto an elegant dining room which includes a decorative fireplace and a smart American pool table. There is another lounge, more informal with TV and DVD player, games and sofas. A large kitchen is fully fitted with all you could need for self-catering including fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave and guests conveniently have a utility room with laundry facilities and 3 guest WCs at their disposition on this level. The bedrooms are laid out over the first and second floors, 6 in total, and named after the years in which great vintages were produced. The first floor's north wing houses two attractive queen size bedrooms, just as distinguished as the rest of the chateau with their high ceilings and period pieces. The south wing has a twin bedroom (which can be converted into a king-size bed if preferred) another double bedroom, and two bathrooms. The fifth bedroom is a very spacious room with 4 single beds, ensuite bathroom, air-condition and with particularly impressive views. Bed linen and towels are provided and baby facilities including highchair and cot are available. ON the same floor there is a comfortable double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. This grand chateau would make a lovely holiday property for a large group of family or friends looking to explore the region of Bordeaux, relax in warm weather, and enjoy the delicious wines on offer! There´s something for everyone.
