“Great apartment perfectly located to experience this great city”

Reviewed 2 Apr 2017

We stayed four nights in this spacious, perfectly-appointed urban apartment. Kitchen, lounge, bathroom and bedrooms are all finished to a very high standard. Olivier was extremely helpful and communicative from the booking right up to the moment we left, greeting us at the apartment with maps, infos and the food and drink basics for new arrivals (although shops and restaurants are all minutes walk away). He even took the trouble to source a vegetarian restaurant. Bordeaux itself is a wonderful, friendly city full of history, great architecture and more shops and restaurants than any short-term visitor needs. Makes for a far more welcoming surrogate Paris. We will be back, to the city and hopefully this apartment. PS St Emilion is a great day-trip out by train.

“BRilliant apartment!”

THis is a fantastic apartment ideally situated for a stay in Bordeaux. I travelled with husband and 21 Year old son. Olivier the owned met us when we arrived and showed us around his spacious and very well presented apartment which was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed exploring the city, sampling the delicious food and then chilling out on the balcony with a glass of the famous Bordeaux wine. We would really recommend this apartment and send many thanks to Olivier for his splendid hospitality.

“Gorgeous flat in perfect location - ticked every box!”

Reviewed 18 Apr 2016

I have just returned from a long weekend in Bordeaux. I cannot rate the experience of staying in this apartment highly enough. The location was perfect, easy to get to the airport and the local attractions and in a picture postcard part of Bordeaux. The apartment is even more impressive than the pictures on the website make it look. It was kitted out immaculately and was beautifully decorated and finished. Olivier and Valerie were extremely helpful with the information they provided in advance and they made us feel very welcome and well looked after. The level of thought and care they put into providing information for the visit helped to make a short Bordeaux experience faultless. They deserve good tenants going forward who will appreciate how wonderful their home is. I would happily return any time.

“Perfect place”

This was a charming apartment and the best location to explore Bordeaux. I was only there for a business trip but the location was ideal to explore the city when I was not working. Olivier was exceptional in preparing for not only our arrival but even sent us information on how to get to our meeting locations! Very accommodating. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip!

“This apartment had everything we hoped for!”

Reviewed 30 Aug 2015

Located close to the centre of the old town within easy walking distance to all landmarks of the city, access to the tramway, the quay and many restaurants, super markets, marches etc., the apartment met our every expectation. The apartment was spotless. The unit was comfortable and very well equipped in all ways. An added bonus is the balcony overlooking Rue de la Rouselle. Olivier meeting us on arrival and carrying our luggage to the apartment and the same on the day of our departure. Highly recommended! John & Mary Barrett Australia

“Fantastic apartment, fantastic location, fantastic host”

Reviewed 27 Jul 2015

We stayed in this fabulous apartment for 2 weeks in July and could not have been more pleased with our selection. Olivier was very welcoming and explained everything about the apartment. It is superbly appointed with items such as a Nespresso coffee maker, a good quality hairdryer and fans in all the rooms - all very much appreciated. The furnishings are also of a good standard and the apartment has a luxury feel to it. The car parking just one door away under the apartment was also a fantastic bonus. The apartment location is great - right next to the old centre - so close to hundred of places to eat and drink but without being on a busy road where you would get any noise from this. It's also close to the waterfront, the attractions of Bordeaux and also the excellent tram service for getting to places slightly further afield. We had a fantastic holiday and really couldn't fault anything. When we had any problems (such as a car parked illegally blocking our access to the garage), Olivier was available to assist and resolve quickly - great as our French is not that good and we would probably not have been able to resolve without his help - such a great host and lovely man! We would definitely stay here again in the future and would recommend this as an ideal base for any visits/holidays in Bordeaux.

“Great place to stay in central Bordeaux”

Reviewed 14 Mar 2015

At first sight, arriving at the front door of the building it looked disconcertingly shabby. However nothing could be further from the truth once we had entered the door of the apartment. The apartment's owner, Olivier, met us at the appointed time, showed us the flat and explained how to use the various appliances. The apartment was as nice as we hoped it might be and the location was within easy walking distance of all of central Bordeaux. We choose to stay in a flat rather than a hotel because it is more spacious, seems more relaxed and gives the opportunity to eat some meals at 'home'. In a town like Bordeaux where part of the pleasure is buying wine, cheese and other good food, it allows the opportunity to enjoy it there and then. The only downside was that our upstairs neighbours could be noisy and were noisy rather late into one night. However, we've been in plenty of hotels where noise can also be a disturbance - this is just a hazard of travelling, it seems.

“Nice Apartment in the centre.”

Reviewed 24 Jul 2014

The apartment was nice, spacious and clean. It had excellent amenities included a lovely nespresso machine and good sound system. The apartment is in a quiet street just round the corner from the tram and easy walking distance to lots and lots of restaurants and shops. The only problem was the noise from outside at the weekend. We were staying during the world cup so this may have been the problem but I was woken at all hours with people shouting. The balcony gets sunshine for a little while in the evening, so nice for a drink before going out. Owners were lovely and very friendly. Thanks to them.

“The Perfect Place to Stay in Bordeaux!"”

Reviewed 10 Mar 2014

Every single detail in Olivier and Valerie's apartment met our high standards for holiday rentals. Spotless, modern, convenient location, top appliances, comfortable beds, great bathroom, beautifully decorated, wi-fi, steps away from two Tram lines, quiet, near many restaurants and cafes, ample closet space, coffee and juice left by the gracious hosts...I could go on and on. We were so happy to stay here and meet Olivier and Valerie who are kind and offered to help make our visit perfect.

“PARFAIT !!!!”
