Location: Only 15 minutes to Boone! Banner Elk address along the Foscoe line (between Boone and Banner Elk). Located in the prestigious and upscale Glens of Grandfather community. Walk to the Watauga River!

Welcome to River Falls Lodge, a fully renovated Watauga River Mountain Lodge located in the Glens of Grandfather community in Banner Elk North Carolina (just outside of Grandfather Mountain! Just 10 minutes to downtown Banner Elk NC and 15 minutes to downtown Boone NC (and a short drive to Blowing Rock right up the Blue Ridge Parkway), its location on the Watauga River, with waterfalls directly outside your back door, almost an arm's reach from your private hot tub, this group rental Lodge could not be a better location or have a better scripted setting.

Your vacation home features a full 7 bedrooms with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on two levels in the main house and an additional 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom in the guest house located above your garage and connected by a short breezeway. There will be plenty of space for your family to enjoy eachother's company with over 3700+ square feet of living space indoors and so much more space outdoors! Your vacation cabin features a fully equipped kitchen (technically 3 kitchen spaces!!!), two fireplaces, cable TV (upstairs and downstairs), WiFi that covers the entire property, DVD library, a second kitchen in the guest house, family-friendly firepit, 6 person HOT TUB, central heat, central air (A/C), washer and dryer, gaming system and office space in the guest house. Not to mention your own private pond, a reading hammock adjacent to your own private waterfalls and Watauga River frontage (its a tough hike down to the river) whose sounds will tickle your ears and make lasting mountain memories.

The outdoor space of this Pet Friendly Banner Elk Lodge is what sells this cabin - the breezeway separating the main house from the guest house, multi-level decks, enjoy the outdoor dining space, a new gas grill, plenty of outdoor seating, a family-friendly firepit, the family-size hot tub, and what was previously mentioned but deserves an additional highlight, your own private pond, and, of course, the gentle sounds of nature; the rushing water of the Watauga River.

At Falls Lodge will find 3 bedrooms on the main floor and with only a few steps into this rental, this is perfect for the elders in your family or group, two additional bedrooms downstairs and the two in your guest house. You have a den upstairs and the great room downstairs, thus your Carolina Cabin Rental truly allows for multi-generational late-night fun as you can be loud on one side of the house without waking certain bedrooms or the guest house! The layout plays so well, the card table, the multiple dens and TVs, the huge outdoor spaces with Grandfather Mountain views and river views (the river runs the whole backside of your Lodge!), all sitting on 3 acres, you have all the space in the world, your own slice of mountain paradise! Accessibility is as good as you will find year-round as the community takes very good care of the roads, but we will always recommend 4x4 during the peak winter months.

For a limited time, families will be allowed to rent Waterfall Lodge for only 3 nights!

Getting around

This cabin has as easy winter accessibility as you will find without major inclines too and from major roads. We always want to recommend 4x4 (as we do to all of our cabins), but this is pretty accessible without!!!
