Joining the outside with rest inside. Just 5-10 min from Boone, Blowing Rock 20 Min. Conveniently located to biking, hiking Food Lyon and campus. I own a quiet home with a garden island pond that is surrounded by life.

Peaceful and private retreat. Let my place be your pick.

This gorgeous island property is just minutes away from it all, but you will feel like you have arrived at a secluded oasis.

My house sits on a secluded, ¾ acre lot with private Island pond access providing an unmatched tranquil setting for a getaway. Summertime fishing just out the front door, winter snow skiing is minutes away.

This is a vacation spot is not to be missed!

(Things to Know Before Booking )

Please know I do not allow more then 5 people to stay at my rental. That includes children/kids. It is NOT ok to bring more people then what was reserved threw trip-advisor. If you are adding someone that must be communicated BEFORE you arrive. Again I do NOT allow more then 5 people... My home is on a septic system and I do not push it's limits....

Security - Outdoor Nest security camera over the garage facing driveway. Alway on and recording for the safety of our guests.

Wood Countertops - Pleas do not put ANY hot plates/cookware from the stove/oven and microwave directly on the tops of the counters. There are hot pads you may use. Clean up any spills immediately. They are NOT cutting boards.

Water Usage / Toilet - Pleas be conservative of the water you use. I am NOT on city water or septic. Pleas DO NOT flush ANYTHING but toilet paper down the toilet!!! The Septic tank is vary sensitive... NO feminine products, wet wipes, hand towels should EVER be flushed down the toilet. THANKS...

Guests – No outside guests should EVER be invited back to stay with you. NOT allowed to add people without telling me they are coming.

Windows - Pleas do not open the windows below 60 degrees outside. Closing the shades pleas remove any plants that are on the ledges.

Cleaning – Altho I charge a cleaning fee I do not expect you to mop, dust, clean tub, and toilets ect. :) but pleas return the space how you found it. Cleanliness is one of the rating on your Profile. Use common sense.

Food / Beverages – Help yourself to whatever you find. I have added a few things to enjoy while you are here and so have others. Pleas pass on anything you think someone else will use while you are here. The top water is from a SPRING so it is better then bottle water. If there is anyone in your group that is a alcoholic or recovering alcoholic pleas let me know so I do not offer you something that will cause problems. I offer a safe environment and do not want anyone to stumble.

Entreatment - I have a gust book on the side table filed with ideas. Pleas add to it as you find something you love. 50 inch HD Smart TV with Charter Cable and a DVD player.

Pond- No swimming or wading in the water. The mud in the pod is deep and you will get stuck. Kids MUST be supervised at all times. YOU take responsibility for there care and safety the entire time you are on my property. The pond is ever changing with each season. The amount of water and what is blooming depends on the rains. There is times that the water is full and flowers exploding with color. Then there are seasons when the pond is dry and the flowers are fading. With each season i have created a place of wonder and with each turn brings new life. Come escape into my ever changing landscape!!!

Getting around

Easy access the 421 and you can be in downtown boone within minutes. The grocery store is 1 min away. I like to tell people that in the mountains you are 15-25 min away for anything you want to do at anyones home.

This was my first home and live a few min away if you need anything during your stay I am normally available. Note this is not own by a rental agency and I take grate price in my home so you can have the best experience and feel cozy.
