Welcome to Donegal (pronounced as "dun na gall", which is a beautiful town in the country of Ireland). Donegal cabin is in a great location with downtown Boone just 3-4 miles away. You will be just minutes to Boone, the campus of ASU, Mast General Store, Daniel Boone Inn, shopping, dining and everything else Boone has to offer.This amazing and beautiful cabin has just what you're looking for: VIEWS, HOT TUB, VIEWS, POOL TABLE, VIEWS, FIRE PIT and Wi-Fi! Donegal offers 3 bedrooms with 3 full bathrooms and covered front and back decks to take in the fresh mountain air and enjoy the views of the Blue Ridge Mountain views. Located on the back covered deck is a gas grill, a table with 6 chairs and rocking chairs. Screened doors, fans and cross breezes will keep you cool! Since you're sitting above 4,200' in elevation there is always a nice breeze and the temps are about 3-6 degrees cooler than downtown Boone. During the winter months, you WILL have to have 4 wheel drive and chains to access the cabin. However this just depends on how much snow is on the ground. MAIN FLOOR: Walk in to our bright and open floor plan with the kitchen/dining area and the living with a gas burning fire place and a 47" flat screen TV above the fireplace. There is also a bedroom with a queen size bed and a full size bathroom with a tub/shower combo. TOP FLOOR: This entire floor is the master suite with a king size bed, walk in closet and an En Suite bathroom. This is your private retreat. LOWER FLOOR: The family will enjoy spending time downstairs with our full size pool table, 47" flat screen Smart TV and a Xbox 360 console with a few games. The third bedrooms is also located down here with a twin bed over full bed bunk bed. There is also a futon for additional sleeping if needed.OUTSIDE: Enjoy spending quality family time at the lower deck which has our fabulous 6-8 person hot tub! Plus you can gather around the fire pit to make S'mores, tell ghost stories or talk about what a great time everyone is having. In the winter, Boone is where people come to choose and cut their own Christmas tree and there are 3 different ski slopes to choose from (Appalachian Ski Mountain is located between Boone and Blowing rock and is the closest to the cabin). There is plenty of fun, adventure and activities near by....Tweetsie Railroad, Mast General Store, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain, Valle Crucis and the Blue Ridge Parkway just to name a few. As you plan your trip to the mountains, please remember we do get rain, snow and some foggy days and occasional inconveniences which are out of our control. Winter weather in the Blue Ridge Mountains can occur from November through April. Our home is accessed by mountain roads, which WILL BE icy in winter weather. For the safety of you and your party, please be prepared to drive in snow and ice! This means 4-wheel drive, good tires AND chains. It is YOUR responsibility to be prepared for hazardous road conditions. There will be NO REFUNDS, allowances or date changes resulting from your negligence in this matter.Book a week and get the 7th night FREE!Some holiday weekends/week may have more than a 2 night minimum. Cleaning is an additional $75-125/per stay.

How do damage deposits work?
