Hidden among the Hemlocks atop Elk Ridge is a monumental achievement of mountain Luxury. With over 6,000+ square feet of heated living space, the sheer size of Bliss Mountain Lodge is as impressive as its fine appointments, exclusively American made craftsmanship and theme park like atmosphere. Nestled in 15 acres of privacy with Mother Nature as your only immediate neighbor. Enjoy a vacation at the highest level of luxury at Bliss Mountain Lodge, an experience in a class all by itself. Bliss Mountain Lodge is a beautiful home nestled in the midst of Leatherwood Mountains Resort, a gated vacation resort offering horseback riding, restaurant and bar, tubing, biking, miles of trails and streams, fly fishing, wedding and corporate retreats, family reunions and much more.

The circular drive and main entry is covered with custom hand crafted double door access at ground level for easy all weather access. Once inside you stroll across 150 year old roughhewn reclaimed wood flooring to the great room which allows several different locations for guests to enjoy their time together while sitting on unique rustic furnishings and enjoying original art work and statues. A massive stone fireplace emerging from the lower level stretches through the great room and disappears into the vaulted ceiling above the loft, 25 feet above you and illuminated by an massive authentic antler chandelier. Relax here by the fire and watch as guests enjoy cooking their own pizza creations in the authentic Italian brick oven. The gourmet kitchen has an island bar with three cowboy classic stools and an adjacent full size seating area. The kitchen is equipped with all Thermador top of the line appliances, a custom made copper farm house sink and faucet and a second prep sink with exquisite granite counter tops and backsplash. The formal dining table has seating for eight and is also located within the main living space. Natural light fills this entire area through a wall of windows showcasing the mountain range in view. Additional tabled seating for at least a dozen or more guests can be found just beyond the kitchen door on both the fully enclosed screened in porch and on the large wrap-around deck. All the cabinetry was made by a local skilled cabinet maker and all the hardware was made by a local blacksmith.

With four master suits, five full bathrooms and a fifth bedroom with bunks, Bliss Mountain Lodge has plenty of room to accommodate. The large king suite on the main level has its own fireplace and door access to the back deck overlooking the mountains. The master bath is spacious and offers a large shower and a jetted air bath. A king suite in the loft allows access to a private rooftop garden, as well as an additional balcony to enjoy the view. Guests of the loft king suite will enjoy a full private bathroom with an air jet garden bath and a separate shower. An additional queen suite in the loft has its own wood burning fireplace, full bath and balcony with long range views of Grandfather Mountain more than __ miles away.. The lower level offers two bedrooms with a shared Jack and Jill bathroom. A king suite at one end and the perfect amount of additional bunked sleeping space at the other make up these two rooms. This bathroom has a tub/shower combo. The kids’ room has a 150 year old reclaimed brick wall that provides a unique rustic décor for a kids hangout with a private reading nook. There's an additional full bath near the entry on the main level and a half bath in the bar on the lower level. That's right... We said bar!

A floating staircase is unique in its own right as the stairs appear and feel to float on air. The stairs have a rustic appeal with mountain laurel railings harvested right on the property and custom lighting that provides your own personalized experience. While ascending the stairs you will take in the original DeRubeis Elements metal sculpture depicting the four elements: Earth, Wind, Fire and Water. The stairs leads to two loft level bedrooms and a comfortable full size seating area in the loft. Got talent? No? No problem! Let the antique player piano handle the music while guest below are impressed by the sounds from above. For custom audio needs simply use any of the 14 whole house audio/intercom kiosks throughout the house to play your personal audio selections in any single room or every room, including the decks and porches.

While the player piano offers its own unique entertainment in the loft, the lower level provides several additional features sure to excite fun seekers of all ages. Saddle up partner! Four
