This beautiful, wheelchair-accessible cabin above the New River just north of Boone, overlooking the peaceful valley below, is a charming getaway! Come up to the main level via the wheelchair ramps. There is even small ramp at the dining room door. The kitchen has beautifully tiled counters, and the dining table has room for 6 with room for 2 more at the kitchen counter. The living room features leather furniture arranged around a large HDTV and a stone woodburning fireplace with limited firewood provided. The master bedroom on this level has a King bed and a TV, and this bedroom has access to the bathroom, also accessed through the hallway.

Upstairs is a loft area with large triangular windows, a queen sized sleeper sofa and TV with BluRay player and a Roku internet TV box. There are two bedrooms on this level. One has a queen bed, and the other has two twin beds. There is also a full bath on this floor.

Outside on the main level deck, relax and enjoy the view. The whole family will enjoy an evening marshmallow roast in the firepit in the yard. On the lower patio awaits the relaxing hot tub, and behind the hot tub are some inner tubes for a fun float trip down the New River, located less than a mile from this cabin.

36 North is located just fifteen minutes north of Boone, so all that the High Country has to offer is just a short drive away. You're sure to love this relaxing haven!

Please note that the video tour mentions a Wii in the loft. This console is no longer in the home.

It is plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access the all properties in winter months. We are happy to help you find the home with the access you are most comfortable with, any time of year!
