Location description from owner

The Province of Leinster region

Known as the "Sunny South East", the counties of Wicklow, Wexford, Waterford, and Tipperary offer everything you could need for a dream holiday in Ireland. Miles of sandy beach and scenic drives taking in mountains and coast are on your doorstep.

Boolavogue

The historic town of Ferns, established in the 6th century is steeped in history. The town boasts many landmarks and buildings showing evidence of its past. One of main attractions in Ferns is the impressive Ferns Castle. Today, only half the castle remains, but it's definitely worth a visit. Just 7.5 miles away from Ferns is the town of Enniscorthy, the second largest town in County Wexford. Enniscorthy has a cathedral, castle and a popular greyhound racing track. Courtown is a short drive away and this coastal town has a delightful beach, harbour, shops and pubs. Walkers and cyclists should head to the beautiful Courtown Wood. Within the area there are ten stunning sandy beaches, including the Blue Flag beach at Curracloe. This part of County Wexford is perfect for families and has so much to see and do that you will not want to leave.
