Tucked away in a gloriously secluded setting at the end of a 3/4 mile farm track, this former farm byre provides perfect holiday accommodation for a couple.

There are 6 and a half acres of woodland and pasture with a babbling brook running through for streamside walks, . This location is perfect if you want to just hideaway for a week or to explore the counties of Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire.

The Preseli hills are steeped in mystery and magic and make great walking as does the Pembrokeshire coast footpath which can be joined at Newport or Poppit Sands just 10 miles away.

Very pet friendly accommodation.

Ground floor

Entrance is into the large HALL which has a laminate floor and ample storage space for coats and walking boots as well as a writing desk, small washing machine and lots of space for sleeping dogs and their beds and bowls.

Two steps lead to the lovely KITCHEN/DINING ROOM which has a laminate wood floor and the original arched byre door. The kitchen has a range of Shaker style fitted cupboards, electric oven and ceramic hob, dishwasher, small fridge freezer, microwave oven, coffee maker, slow cooker and an electric juicer. There is a pine dining table and 3 chairs in the kitchen but more chairs available for entertaining if you need them.

The BATHROOM is off the hall and has a suite of bath with electric shower over, WC and hand basin.

First floor

Stairs lead to the landing where there is a cane chair and cd player.

This opens into the SITTING ROOM which has sloped ceilings and an exposed beams, natural stone wall and a part glazed door to the original byre stone steps (use with care). The sitting room has been furnished with two huge comfy armchairs, TV, DVD player, coffee table and nest of tables.

The BEDROOM is stunning and has a high vaulted ceiling, open beams, natural stone wall and three windows, one of which is door height and has views over the pasture and wooded valley. The room is furnished with a double bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers, dressing table with stool, wardrobe and an armchair and footstool.

The bed will be made up with fresh linen for your arrival and towels are also supplied (not for beach use).

Garden and Parking

There is ample parking on the farmyard for up to 2 cars.

There is a patio area to the fore of the byre with a table and chairs and a barbecue.

This area is enclosed and safe for pets.

You are welcome to explore the 6 acres of woodland and pasture subject to animals grazing the land at certain times of the year.

Other Information

There is full gas central heating throughout the cottage - this is included in the rental from May to September and charged at a flat rate of £20 per week at all other times.

Please pay the owner for your fuel whilst on holiday.

Pets Welcome - Pets are very welcome at this property and the owners, who live in the farmhouse and Granary, have 5 lovely dogs of their own - all are obedience and agility trained and the owners are very welcoming to other well behaved dogs, There is a dog agility and obedience ring so your four legged friends can enjoy their holiday as much as you do!

Pembrokeshire Produce hampers can be ordered in advance if you wish to have something special to welcome you.
