This detached cottage is reached via a long private tarmac drive and situated to the side of the owner's farmhouse, has been sympathetically converted. Offering couples or small families an idyllic holiday retreat, yet enabling easy exploration of both the North and south coasts of Cornwall.

Walkers will be in their element with farmland surrounding the property and the adjacent Bodmin Moor, where a wide variety of birdlife and animals can often be seen. The pretty coastal towns and villages on the north coast are well worth the short drive. Port Isaac and Padstow are approximately 19 miles, from Padstow quayside you can enjoy a bite to eat at one of the many cafes or bars including TV chef, Rick Stein's bistro or restaurant. For visitors who want to stay closer to home, less than a 5 minute drive is the historic Jamaica Inn made famous by Daphne Du Maurier's novel of the same name, where you can enjoy good food and a drink or two. Alternatively, The Old Inn at St Breward is well worth a visit.

This spacious detached cottage offers ONE bedroom: with 1 double and 1 single bed. Bathroom: with hand-held shower attachment and WC. Both of these rooms are upstairs and have low sloping wooden ceilings. Downstairs the accommodation has wood flooring throughout. Lounge/kitchen/diner: with additional quiet seating area at one end. Lounge with TV, DVD, hi-fi and woodburner effect electric fire. Kitchen area is well-equipped with fridge with small ice-compartment, washing machine, tumble dryer, electric cooker/hob/hood, microwave and many useful extras. Large farmhouse-style dining table and chairs. Outside: shared enclosed garden at the rear of the property with BBQ and open lawn area at the front of the property with garden furniture. Amenities: ample off-road parking. Bed linen, electric and central heating included. Towels for hire. Regret no smoking. 1 well-behaved dog welcome. Additional info: stairgates positioned at top and bottom of stairs. Private water supply. Location: beach 19 miles, farm shop and pub 1 mile.
