Caesar Resort is situated at the gateway to the marvelously wild and rugged Karpaz peninsular, with it's unspoilt beaches and roaming wild donkeys. There aren't many places like this left in the Mediterranean and it's a joy to behold.

The Famagusta District

The golden sandy Long Beach is less than half a mile away. The medieval walled city of Famagusta with its many historical sites, restaurants and bars is a fifteen minute drive away. The thriving university area of the city has more bars and cafes The ancient ruins of Salamis are ten minutes away. Bogaz is five minutes away. Caesar Resort is an excellent base for exploring the Karpaz peninsular with its unspoilt beaches, wild donkeys and turtle conservation areas.Kantara Castle is in a spectacular setting high in the mountains - but close by. Thirty five minutes to an eighteen hole professional golf course and forty five minutes from Ayia Napa with its water park and other attractions. If you like a flutter, there are some nice casinos to visit in the evening too.

Bogaz

Bogaz is a little fishing village with a small harbour skirted with restaurants and a few bars. In the summer there is live music every night. You can take a day trip on a yacht from Bogaz harbour, which is good fun. All along the Bogaz/Famagusta road there are different restaurants dotted about, serving local produce, traditional mezes and delicious fish, chicken, lamb and beef dishes. There are traditional markets and supermarkets along the road also. There is also Go-Karting and a brand new synthetic ice rink within ten minutes drive.

“very nice apartment and a lovely resort, great pools and facilitys, nice and clean.”

Reviewed 20 Sep 2011

we went in early september and it was just what we were looking for nice and quiet!staff in the cafe/bar said that they had been really busy 2 weeks prior so if thats what you like then mid august is probably for you. There was just me and my wife so we spent most of our time around the pools which are excellent, the grounds and the resort in general are very well kept and the cafe is resonable for breakfast and snacks, the bar is run by mainly english people but all speak english and the manageress and her son are especially nice people.I would how ever suggest you rent a car as you need one if you are going to eat out there are a lot of restaurants dotted along the main road within a few minutes drive but have a spin round in the day to locate them.we had a great time and value for money.

Thanks so much for your kind words Chris. I'm so glad you enjoyed yourself Martin
