Location description from owner

The England region

The property is within 2 miles of the Kent/Sussex border and therefore offers visitors the chance to explore both counties. There are a multitude of places to visit including BATTLE (Abbey, historic battlefield and Yesterday's World), HASTINGS (Blue Reef Aquarium, Adventure Golf, Clambers Play Centre, Fishermen's Museum, Shipwreck Museum and Hastings Museum and Art Gallery) and RYE (Castle Museum, nature reserve and Camber Castle), numerous gardens including Pashley Manor, Merriments and Great Dixter, as well as Bateman's (the former home of Rudyard Kipling), Bewl Water, Bedgebury National Pinetum and Scotney Castle. For walkers, the area is criss-crossed with footpaths. For cyclists, the roads are generally quiet and there are miles of off-road tracks for all the family at Bedgebury, where cycle hire is available. Unspoilt countryside and open-air activities abound in this area. There are also plenty of places to eat, with a wide variety of menus.

Please contact the owner if the date you wish to book for is not available as we have 4 brand new properties available for let from May 2015.

“3 Coopers Cottage”

Reviewed 31 Dec 2016

We stayed at coopers cottage over the Christmas period, we found from booking process to the end of our stay a truly pleasant one, our hosts catered for our needs and we can not fault our stay , very clean and lovely Christmas decor with fantastic night display on veranda made it feel perfect ( only snow missing) all in all our stay fitted perfect for a good family break , and would highly recommend coopers Cottages , looking to return at some point next year , Paul and Victoria krishnan

Thank you for your kind comments. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay and would love to welcome you back in 2017. Regards Terrie and Sharon
