“Amazing view and great location”

Reviewed 3 Apr 2017

This is a little piece of England....lovely views and breakfast on the patio was even better with the sunny weather! The owners couldn't have done any more to make us welcome and comfortable and outdoors toys and games for the children were an added bonus. The cottage is wonderfully fitted and has everyone you need for a fabulous stay. Suits every age and need. Terrie has been really helpful especially as I left some clothes in the wardrobe and she offered to post them for us. Can't wait to return!

Owner's reply: Thank you for your kind comments. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us and look forward to seeing you again in the future. Regards Terrie and Sharon

“Great family weekend away”

Reviewed 27 Mar 2017

We had a great stay in Bodiam. The cottage is brilliant, everything done to a high-spec and plenty of space for the seven of us staying. The views from the living room across the vineyard are great - and the perfect location for coastal walks and visiting the castle. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back soon!

Owner's reply: Thank you for your kind comments. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again sometime. Regards Terrie and Sharon

Location is great with stunning views towards Bodium village, it is the perfect spot for a stress-free holiday... and so quiet. Great for country walks. There is everything you could want in the cottage including comfortable beds and linen. Cold outside but beautifully warm inside. Hosts left a wonderful welcome package, too. Lovely.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your kind comments. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us. Regards Terrie and Sharon

“Fantastic Weekend”

Reviewed 13 Dec 2016

This cottage was booked for a birthday weekend for a family member. On arriving late it was beautifully lit up with decorative lighting and was very large inside. We stayed in the 4 bedroom cottage. It was very clean and tidy and we'll stocked. Open plan was perfect as all of us could stay together eleven when doing different activities. Great walks and close to Bodiam Castle and a lovely pub.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your kind comments. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay and found the cottage suited your families needs.

Have stayed here 4 times now and always have a perfect relaxing break. Just love the location, the views are stunning and it is very peaceful. The cottage is equipped with everything you need, we want for nothing. Terrie, the owner always makes us so welcome and nothing is too much trouble for her. During this visit she gave us a sneak preview of some new holiday homes she has just finished in Battle. Cant wait to try one of these soon.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your kind comments. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay and hope you enjoy Battle as well.

We stayed at number 2 Coopers Cottage for the weekend as it was a Ruby wedding anniversary for my parents, we had booked it for the whole family (6 people and two babies). What can I say ....it was fantastic! Clean, modern, spacious, peaceful surroundings, we couldn't want for anything. The cottage is fully equipped with all you need and they even leave you eggs, bread, butter, milk and a freshly baked cake for your arrival. The owner Terrie was around if you need her for anything and she checked in before we left to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. I would highly recommend visiting the cottages for any occasion, we had such a lovely time we are looking to book again. Thank you coopers cottages for making our stay wonderful.

Owner's reply: Thank you we are delighted your celebrations were enjoyable and that the cottage suited your group. We look forward to welcoming you back.

“Beautiful location and Terrie and Mike have thought of everything.”

Reviewed 11 Aug 2016

The setting is beautiful, right on the vineyards with sweeping views and about 5 minutes from Bodium with several restaurants and pubs nearby. Walking paths to the duck pond and convenient to lots of historic sites within about 20 minutes. Inside there is lots of light and space and a great layout with a double and bath downstairs, an en-suite master upstairs and two rooms with twins that share the hall bath. What really struck us is how Terrie and Mike have thought of everything. We have stayed at many B&Bs and Landmark buildings and private rentals and this one was the most completely provisioned we have ever encountered -- you couldn't dream of anything you would want in the kitchen but to find it -- games and books and DVDs if that is what you want -- ample patio furniture with an umbrella and a grill -- and the towels are human-being sized. It really is as though you had set it up for yourself as opposed to being set up for renters. Terrie and Mike are also delightful and friendly and really made the stay special.

Owner's reply: Many Thanks for your kind words. We are delighted you found the cottage equipped for your needs and enjoyed your stay with us. Thanks again
