Boavista

Lagos was the capital of the Algarve from 1576 to 1756. Today, in spite of great popularity with tourists, it has managed to preserve both character and charm with its fort, walls and old quarter. Lagos was an important harbour at the time of the Great Discoveries and it was from here that most of the African expeditions put to sea. “Loved it!”

Was our first time trip Portugal and Boavista is a great place to stay. It's really nice having the ground floor flat for the garden aspect - breakfast on the terrace was a great start to each day. The resort pool is a stone's throw away but highly recommend driving to one of the beaches close by (Praia do Camilo - great beach and hilltop restaurant). The resort is beautiful and very close to Lagos and the local supermarket. The flat has everything you need, satellite was a bonus some nights after a long day on the beach when you just want to do nothing! We're not golfers but they have pilates/zumba classes if you're feeling energetic. The town itself is great - lots of nice restaurants, amazing architecture and friendly people. Def need a car if you intend to explore the coast more. Kerry is very helpful with any queries you have. I will happily go back there!

“Great Apartment for A Relaxing Holiday”

I have stayed in the apartment on 3 occassions and have booked again for July of this year. It is great with all the comforts of home and Kerry is very easy to deal with. I have a five year old so having a ground floor apartment and the pool nearby is very handy. The resort is very well maintained and has great facilities with the playground just accross the the road. We have always found the staff at the clubhouse very friendly and often visit for lunch or dinner in the evenings. The SPA/Golf Club are also close by and great if you feel like pampering yourself/playing golf. Although you do need a car, both Lagos and Luz are only minutes away. There are also some beautiful beaches along the coast.

“Great Apartment and Ideal for families and Golfers”

This apartment has all the facilities of a hotel and is ideal for families with children. We have had 2 great holidays here so far. Kerry made it very easy to book and the apartment has everything you would need including satalite TV which is handy when travelling with a young child. The pool area is very clean and safe and never too busy. The club house is great if you don't want to drive anywhere and we always found the food and service good. My husband is a golfer so he got to enjoy a fews rounds also. We look forward to returning soon.
