"Superb accommodation with fishing on the doorstep."
From the moment we arrived we were treated like old friends. (We stayed last year as well). The site for the caravans is small but the standard inside the accommodation is brilliant. Very clean and comfortable with all you would need for a holiday home from home. Ours had central heating, a 3 piece suite, two toilets, a large shower room and a fully fitted kitchen with all appliances. The surrounding area is a village with two pubs which do meals and a Chinese take away. There is also a working men's club. The site has four fishing lakes with very good pegs and is kept immaculate by the staff. There is also an outside toilet and an outside wet room/toilet. Each caravan has it's own lockable shed for the angling equipment and even has a fridge so that live bait can be kept safely. For any non angling guests a bus service runs hourly to Gainsborough and Lincoln one way and in the other direction to Scunthorpe. Three of us stayed in the two bedroomed Poppy caravan. There was myself and my husband and a lady friend of ours. My husband fished ( very successfully !) each day while us two ladies hit the shops of Lincolnshire. There is also an on-site cafe which provides drinks and snacks and the accommodating host Angie will even cook an evening meal if given enough notice. We had a great weekend there which will no doubt be repeated. All t he staff are friendly and welcoming. What more could you want??
Dear Guest, Thank you so much for taking the time to review our accommodation. It was really nice to know that you enjoyed your stay with us and that you will hopefully be back again. You can always be assured of a warm welcome from Angela and the team.
