“Mandeville's best get away...”

Reviewed 4 Feb 2015

Agapantha Cottage Bed & Breakfast catered to the needs of my family for three day. We arrived late at night and our host was there to greet us and made sure we were settled in comfortably. We requested early breakfast and went to sleep in comfort. Beds were very comfortable with cloud like linen. At the break of dawn we were greeted with the aroma of Jamaica's finest coffee, the smell of our favorite ackee and salt-fish with Johnny cakes and ground provisions. We ate to our hearts delight and request mackerel rundown for the following day which was the best I have ever tasted. This will be my definite stop whenever i'm in central Jamaica. Desmond provided us with security and getting stuff from the car and we had the luxury of two cooks, our Host and sous chef.

“Amazing time at Agapantha Cottage”

Reviewed 7 Jan 2015

We had an amazing time at Agapantha Cottage bed and breakfast. We arrived late and was greeted by Lisa who had made special arrangements for us that night and the following day. The next morning we awoke to the smell of great blue mountain coffee and a traditional Jamaican breakfast (specially requested) Her staff was great and treated my girlfriend to a tour of her herb and fruit garden. The rooms are centered around the living room/ family room which made it seem so much more homely open and comfortable. The proximity to town is great. (A long walk or a quick car ride) This is a must stay for us on our next trip to cool Mandeville
