“Perfect location to explore the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley”

Reviewed 27 Oct 2016

Valley View Cottage was warm, comfortable and exceptionally clean. Our hosts Les and Barbara were very welcoming and provided lots of useful advice about the local area. The wonderful Puzzle Wood and Clearwell Caverns are just 20 minutes away and we enjoyed several magical walks in the nearby forest. During our three day stay we barely scratched the surface of what this remarkable place has to offer and we will be staying once again at Valley View when we inevitably return.

Thank you Kevin for leaving a review and we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay and the area. Looking forward to seeing you again one day. Kind regards Barbara and Les

“Cool Cottage”

Reviewed 26 Sep 2016

We had a very warm welcome from Barbara when we arrived at valley view and that was just the start of what turned out to be a lovely weekend. The property is modern, clean, and very well equipped, with a large elevated decked balcony that has gorgeous views of the valley.Being late September we were fairly lucky with the weather allowing us to open the patio doors and take in the views. Situated just off the road through the village of Blakeney and adjacent to the owners property, it was so peaceful and tranquil, yet close enough to enjoy the charming surrounding villages.it really is a super base for exploring . We stay regularly in different locations throughout the UK for short breaks and this was right up there and felt like a home from home.Ideal for small families, couples, or even small parties valley view will not disappoint,we will return without a doubt.!

Hi Maria and Judith We are so pleased you found your stay so enjoyable and thank you for the lovely review. Looking forward to seeing you again sometime. Kind regards Barbara and Les

“Perfect in every way!”

Reviewed 5 Jul 2016

An exceptionally clean and tidy accommodation with everything just as described. We had no problems whatsoever with the property or the location, with everything just as it should be. Les and Barbara run their business in a professional and business like manner but still find the time to talk to their guests and to make every effort to ensure that all is in order for their guest's stay. We were extremely pleased with our long weekend break and will certainly try to book again in the near future - providing of course that there is any availability, that is!!

Thanks Tony for your kind review. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay and perhaps we will see you again in the near future. Kind regards Barbara and Les
